When was the last time we had one?

Oh and who plays in goal for Chelmsford these days? Is it Teflon Gloves from last season? :D

Kinchy is regarded as a legend at Longmead, Thought he was released as had a few injuries this season, lets hope hes over them. Possibly a bit similar to the Ben Martin signing last year. Quality player who has been given a chance with not a lot of risk to us. Certainly he has a reputation of being a tough, strong player who is committed.

Good luck Scott and welcome to PVR, could be a very good signing.

Scott Kinch??

The bloke who kicked lumps out of our players about six weeks ago? For committed I think you can substitute dirty.

Not the sort of player that I can see fitting into our style of play but Daisy normally gets it right so best of luck to Scott at PVR

I think this is a signing to cover suspensions and injuries, and allows Parky to stay at the back on a permanent basis.

Welcome Scott.

Versatile player, adds a bit of bite to the midfield. Could free up Clarkey a bit.

If you remember Daisy played a diamond formation recently, I see kinchy there in front of the two center halfs (at least when we have players injured or suspended). Which will see us more attacking as the midfielders like Crackers or Clarkey can make box runs and finish off balls in from Faz and Stella along with Pires and Cumbers. If hes fit he should be a decent addition. Nothing wrong with having a hard player, maybe we've missed one? it also strengthens our bench.

Hopefully Daisy can bring in one more out of pughys freed up money and we can kick on.

Dear All
I have started up my own Football Players Agency and and I am pleased to confirm my first deal. I believe in putting the player first and giving a second to none service. A footballer's career is short and it is vital that a professional is used prior to signing any contract.

Below is a copy of Scott Kinch's contract that he has with Welling United FC.

I Scott Kinch, hereby agree to the following terms and conditions of employment by Welling United Football Club.

1.     Will work for as many hours as the club deem necessary.
2.    There will be no restriction on work duties, this can be from playing on the pitch to managing the team and from serving behind the bar to fetching the ball when it goes over the fence.
3.     Payment will be via third party cheque as and when the club deem appropriate.
4.   Win and draw bonuses will be determined upon any profits which will be agreed by Welling United via verbal say-so.
5.    The club will provide any kit required (correct size cannot be guaranteed) and will deduct a variable charge for this from any wage due.
6.    There will be no 'fancy' hair cuts (short back and sides only) and regulatory black football boots must be worn.
7.    Mr Kinch will be liable for any or all legal actions that are served on the club whilst he is in Welling United's employment.
8.    All assets of Mr Kinch will become the property of Trigger's Football Players Agency whilst being represented by them.
9.    The club has the right to refuse payment for reasons of changes they thought of but never actually communicated to when preparing this contract.
10.    Welling United reserve the right to add new conditions and clauses to this agreement giving no time limit or expiration date.

Signed in the presence of an approved representative of Trigger's Football Players Agency registered in Columbia.

My dear Dogkilla

Thank you for your feedback and very kind words. I would like to point out that the contract between Scott Kinch and Welling United is an extremely serious business and in no way should be treated as abject humour.

A professional contract can take years to prepare, and this one was no different. Please take some time to read the following as it will give you an insight of the preparation and time scale involved in creating the perfect player/club relationship.

A high profile contract of this type is divided into three sections:
1.    The approach from the club.
Welling United made a reverse charge call in February 2004 to my Columbian office when Mike Rutherford moved on which left the club without a fierce midfield competitor.

2.    The groundwork.
Welling United were sent a questionnaire asking what type of player was required, what was their budget and was revenge an option? Once the club had agreed my fee it became clear that it would take them eight years to get the deposit together. As Welling had lost their captain to Tonbridge Angels, revenge was definitely an option. We had been keeping an eye on Scott for over 40 years on behalf of other clients but he ticked all the right boxes for the Wing's. So, at the start of the 2011/12 season an expert pea-shooter was hired to shoot Scott to cause injury preventing him from playing. Our other arm of the business then approached Tonbridge and informed them that we could off load Mr Kinch to another club for a small fee. Revenge was sweet, Welling United had stolen Tonbridge Angel's star player, just as they had done all those years ago.

3.     The signing of the paperwork.
This took place in the Executive Lounge with Pam serving the tea and biscuits.
