Some rather selective editing - none of the first half bookings / should-have-been-bookings, cuts it straight after the ridiculous corner award following Simpemba's miss and also manages to avoid the keeper's indiscretion for the sending off.

And 3 points without Faz, Daisy and Loick being available. What impressed me was that they never troubled us and in the second half we changed formation to go for the win and controlled the half and played all the football and big Ben and Ant just headed away the hoofs from the home team. As Stafford said in a text, to beat the home side, the ref and any other **** that was thrown at us was a pleasing day. The new players have really strengthened the squad who must be brimming with confidence, the amount they are giving is probably rising above the levels of committment of last year. Keep it up.

none of the first half bookings / should-have-been-bookings,
Just been watching the game back, see what you mean Russ, a quite horrible tackle on Clarkey by Purcell in the corner and another one on Clarkey in midfield late from behind. Makes you wonder how he books Parky for that when others clatter players. Interestingly he had his book out for Purcell and put it back in his pocket. Definite yellow card, couldnt be any less than a yellow.
Whats that word everyone talks about? Consistency. Didnt think he was a terrible ref, he even put up with some language from our players before having enough of the lip after his poor penalty decision. What really ***** me off is when ours get booked for no contact after a squeal yet one of ours get crunched or tackled from behind or late and nothing happens. Seen worse refs he was just not consistent.
We need to watch the dissent again as it could hurt us towards the end of the season unless we get a "tactical booking" or two in the last few games of the normal season. Holloway's and Sammy's were just for dissent when he isnt going to say ok lads ive chaged my mind it isnt a penalty.

Ruiz haymaker is in ours. Hopefully up around 5 or 6. So many bookings left them out but put in parkys as felt very was harsh.also included Parkys header that hit post. 16 mins of highlights up early evening. Healy gets sent off for stupidly throwing ball in their face, their keeper had a swing, connects and nothing. Thats wrong.

Can't agree that Joe was unlucky. Seen the video and it looks a case of rank stupidity. There is being clever in using time and taking the pee. In the words of the advert I'm not saying one is right and one is wrong but the second one is definitely wrong! If our keeper had done the same we would be defending him in that situation. The first booking was deserved and to throw the ball in the players face straight after is plain stupid. Think Joe is a great player but not when he is sat on his backside in the stand for 9 games for the second half of the season. The most avoidable sending off since Trevor Booker managed to throw a punch over the shoulder of the referee, who was acting as peacemaker, in to the face of a Kettering player many moons ago.
I dont think Joe meant to through it in the guys face ... I think he was tossing it back to the keeper as the defender walked past. Either way stupid, and totally avoidable by the referee as well ... was that the worst offence in the entire game as it was the only red card ?? I suspect not.
I think you are being kind to Joe Kevin. He clearly knows the defender is there as he pushes him in the chest and then throws the ball at him. Real shame as he was different class when he came and totally swung the game in our favour. The ball to put Cumbers through when he then hit the bar was pure quality.
This was not good, but if i was dug in the bread basket by someone i would have the hump that the ref books me for bringing the ball back to where the free kick is and he hasnt done him. The reactions are where Joe needs to chill, he reacted at Dorchester last season and saw red. Also got away with a cuff at Gillingham player in Kent Senior Cup.
He does want to learn i think and you can bet your balls he will be busting a gut to make up for it, if he gets the chance. He seems to not be able to accept a bad decision or handle when he thinks hes been stitched up... that one is easy Joe ... think what you like but say nothing and let the boots do the talking and chirp back then at their players as you run back when they have to kick off after we have scored, just ask them whats the score and wink at them, that will annoy them a lot more. If you think youve been stitched up just gee the lads up and get revenge that way.
I was worried that someone would have acted rashley, hope Joe is playing tonight and gets the chance to pay his team mates back if he feels he has let them down.
