Time for us to start picking up a form now as JgFc said "We are not yet out of it". Im starting to believe it too. With Woking slipping up quite oftern lately, its time for us to take advantage. People are saying that this will be a difficult fixture, I think personally that this will be a walk in the park.

Weston wont seem up to it after travelling and odd hundred miles for an evening game and 5 defeats in a row wont pick them up either. They have conceeded 3 goals every game in the last 5 including a 3-0 home defeat to Bromley. Us on the other hand have picked up 10points in the last 5 which is decent. I would say that this should atleast be a repeat of the Truro home scoreline (5-1), if not, MORE!!

Should be interesting to see what happens. With only 11 games remaining this season, I think that we should at least be picking up 20 points from them. With a difficult treble trip to Chelmsford, Woking and Maidenhead in the next fortnight, we need to get maximum points wherever possible. It doesnt get easier as we welcome Sutton back after their late revival at their place. Pritty straight forward from then on. 16 points out of 21 from last 7 games a massive possibility. Vital but in my view, easy tie.

COYW!!!

Tuesdays other matches:

Basingstoke v Tonbridge

Bromley v Staines

DOVER v CHELMSFORD - MASSIVE TIE

Farnborough v Eastbourne

Hampton v Salisbury

Sutton v Havant

It may be a cliche but you can't say any games are a walk in the park in this league. Staines home and away, Boreham Wood away, Eastleigh away etc

I agree. You can add Thamesmead and East Thurrock to that list. Weston looked good at their place. Kabba is fast and dangerous and they will fight for every ball.

I cant make head nor tail of anything that was said

Although results have generally been ok recently, the performances havent exactly been setting the world on fire. Effort cannot be questioned, but the tactics seem to have changed from decent passing football to hoof ball, and the discipline is still questionable. If nothing else, WSM losing several in a row should mean they are due some points !!

No easy games, pull your fingers out and play as we know you can, whilst working hard.

Up the Wings.

From Welling I assume ... you'll get hoof ball from WSM I would have thought.

Loads of Footy on tonight, I would say 400 would be decent shout on the crowd given its Weston, who last year brought 4 flags and 3 fans.

Hopefully it will be a bit more than that.

None of us really know jack about tactics only what we see when we play well and rip teams apart with movement and passing. The finer points of tactics is what make people like Jamie Day and Tony Burman good managers.

What is evident is even on days when its not going well,  they (our players)  carry on and try their best. I think if we can pull a run like the one last year where we went unbeaten vs all the big teams then we could win the league. What we need to do is keep getting the wins and then when we are mathamatically certain of a play off berth we can rest players like Ebsfleet did. Rememberthey rested 6 players and they won the play offs.

If we dont win the league then at least we know when it comes to a two legged war for a place in the final that our squad are together and not mercinaries, our squad has heart and belief. I know who i would back.

coyw, starting from tonight lets turn the screw on Woking and you never know.

Daisy did comment in a recent interview that the condition of pitches at this time of the season hinders the passing game quite a bit.

The main aim is point on the board at this stage of the season and to get a winning run going, and with the exeption of Staines we are winning and squeaking through tight matches which can be as much a confidence booster as scoring 3 or 4 every game. Tonight is a massive game and a potential banana skin against a badly out of form side but patience is the key and the goals will come. With chelmo at the frenchies a win tonight could really get us back in the title race with Woking seeminly stuttering. I would happily settle for 1-0 and the longest 90 mins tonight as long as we get the 3 points. COYW!!!

Hope you dont mind me commenting, but it would probably be best if somebody whispers into Daisys, Barrys or Frostys ears not to wait until the late stage of the game (75 min or later) again to make our first substitution, its really frustrating seeing all our players get tired on the pitch and not bringing on a fresh pair of legs. Like on saturday, after 60 mins cumbers was looking shattered....I think he went on to finish the whole game :s

It adds to the drama.....we wouldnt want to be nice and relaxed on the terraces with 5 mins to go! Especially on a chilly night like tonight!

I agrees about the substitutions. It's been mentioned before too.

I was surrounded by plenty of people calling for an earlier sub against Bromley and I couldn't believe how long it took for one to come on. I might be wrong but I think we played better after the first sub came on.

Anyway, more importantly, COME ON YOU WINGS!!

We've passed the ball more in the first 10 mins here than we did during the entirety of Saturday's match. Missed a couple of half-chances so far. We're well on top - so far anyway.

Two nil: Pires. Good work by Clarke charging down the ball to set that up.

Good result-Weston hardly troubled us all game but had a couple of chances but its good to keep a clean sheet. Latest from Dover were they were winning 2-0 so good news all round

Interviews with Jamie Day and Jack Parkinson up on Wednesday and Highlights to follow. Two good goals. Solid performance where we laid the foundation by being quick out the blocks and tried to keep the ball, fair play to Weston they came to play football and Holloway had to be sharp a couple of times to keep them out..

Well done boys. Excellent win.

sorry to disagree but one of their fans did not visit the park end. They actually had 5 at the road end in the second half.
