Listening to radio article yesterday about three places given City status - St Asaph, Perth and........CHELMSFORD!

What???????

It seems our Essex friends have been posing illegitimately as a City for all these years. Surely the Conference must have a rule among their many that deals with teams pretending to be something they're not!

Could there be a points deduction? Will somebody at the FA be hauled over the coals for this oversight? Come to think of it as they were registered as such in 1929 anyone working their has long been in some kind of furnace.

A guy on the radio explained today that someone mistakenly registered the club as a City after the last one disbanded.

Honestly, it's enough to make you want to leap out the dugout and run on the pitch in protest.
