Jack Taylor and Lewis Knight play for the ressies and Taylor has been around the first team a couple of times this season. Granted they are a bit seperated from the club but we do have players there if needed and we can use it to bring players back which we cant do in the Under 18s obviously.
I think between the Kent Youth team and the academy and the reserves we could find a decent second string its all a bit mish mash at the moment.
KYL team obviously has the stronger players but see what Quinny does in the next few months in the academy as weve had earlier trials and should pick up better players, if we dont there is a problem.

All we get is the kent league site, If a member of the reserves set up wanted to update the official site i am sure Dan would be delighted.
If the first team are away and the ressies were local and people had notice they might get a few go and watch but when there is no info its not surprising that no one talks about it.

If the reserves played locally and not at Gay Pride Farm or whatever it's called, then I would go to every home game and I'd pay to get in as well as long as they weren't charging silly prices.
They were playing at Croydon i think, But there are teams in this league not far away so i meant the local away games. Those that dont travel to see the first team away might go and see the ressies if they knew they were playing.
It isnt hard to update the official site if one of the managers or coaches of the reserves wanted to update it with news and reports etc.
If anyone of then fancies it then contact dan on the official site and see if he agrees to it.

The reserves you mention only use Welling's name and as far as i'm aware have no conection to the first team what so ever. The nearest thing we have to a reserve side is our current u18's, from which Ryan Flack, Jack Kensington and Harry Cullum have all been in and around the squad of late.
It cost's a fortune to run a reserve side and they have to play at a level where players can be plucked out to play conference south football when the manager needs them. Perhaps the year after next when many of our current u18's will head on to Mens football, that would be a good time to start one.
Not sure if the current "welling" resereves play at a good enough level though, as for the academy, not sure if the ryman youth league standard is very good either spys tell me people are very un happy about the way academys are run. Noy sure about ours?
How can they be nothing to do with welling when they came thru from welling academy and play in the welling kit and two of their players have played for the first team this season already. They are away to holmesdale on sat 31st march the ground is Oakley rd bromley BR28HG 3pm ko
Thought the idea of a reserve side is that 1st team players that are returning from injury, or are out of favour can get a run out. Have any of the current squad featured in the "reserves". Have any of the current Academy or the u18's been called up to this team. if none of these have taken place it can't be a Reserve side?
Yeah..it isnt a reserve team its a youth team.......I dont think Daisy would put a first team player in to gain fitness....and there lies an issue.....we can hardly afford a 'real' one I guess
