He did say that, just hoping he meant for normal league games! Loving the strength and depth at this point in the season. Two questions though...sorry for my ignorance:
1. I have the play off dates in the diary that are published online but when do we hear who plays who and who hosts the first leg? Is it 2nd plays 5th or drawn lots? etc
2. I note that the Conf Prem play off final is at Wembley but I think I read it right that South and North play at the highest placed home ground. Is that right and if so, I can see from a competitive point of view it keeps our games alive until the end - but does it lose a certain..."sense of occasion" not going to a neutral ground?
Cheers

Jamie's programme notes yesterday said McBean should return to training this week, with him hopefully getting some game time before the play-offs.
Think it's important for the play-offs we put Jamie Turner on the bench, would be a shame to come all this way then have Holloway injured/sent off and to go out because of that
100 % agreed. Jamie has looked good in his two games and would be a more than capable replacement should the worse happen to Hollas. I think Jamie will play Saturday before Holloway plays the remianing two. Good news about Warren would be another string to our bow coming off the bench.

After the Eastbourne game in the interview Jamie Day said "he needs a bit of game time just in case for the playoffs", which i took that we would have him on the bench, and sounded like it was always the plan. I may have misunderstood...
Definitley have a sub keeper just in case if a penatly-shoot out is required!
If a penalty shoot out is required we will need a miracle not a goalkeeper. I think it would be crazy not to have a sub-keeper if we have one who is good enough (which we have in Turner). If Holloway is injured during the match or sent off surely it would be better to have a 'keeper rather than relying on an outfield player.
2nd v 5th 3rd v 4th. I heard the lowest placed team is at home first. Trouble with the neutral ground is that you may end up with a pretty poor crowd I guess.
5th will host 2nd on Wed 2 May (return leg 2nd v 5th on Sun 6 May)
4th will host 3rd on Wed 2 May (return leg 3rd v 4th on Sun 6 May)
One off final at highest placed team. So if Dartford finish 2nd and win semi final will be at Princes Park. If Dartford finish second and lose semi final then winner of 3rd or 4th place semi will host the final.
If second scenario comes true then, fingers crossed, final could be at PVR.
