Think its fair to say our players will be keen to win this given the result at Eastleigh earlier in the season. Probably a few changes and Jamie said last week we will leave out Clarkey if we can soley for the reason he doesnt get a booking to take him into suspensions.

A good game to win today and keep the form going and the clean sheets if possible.

494 Minutes without conceding a league goal i think....

One nil to Eastleigh, after we've been camped in their half most of the match.

A very flat and uninspired performance. Hopefully we can raise our game next week as its a massive game for Hampton and get some momentum for the playoffs.

Not sure it was that good Alan!! Team will hopefully learn that they can't just turn up and expect to win. Better they do it now rather than in the play offs. Some players need to have a good look at themselves.

OK, it was a poor performance.  But let's look at the positives.  Third place is now pretty much assured and two of the four "dead" games have now been played without anyone picking up any red or yellow cards.

I don't think the way we played today has any significance as far as the play offs are concerned.

Perhaps he didnt fancy a broken neck as he was running in blind to the post and trying to nod the ball in. Still dont think he flinched or pulled back though, was just unsure where post was i thought.

The 4 dived in injury time aswell, Should have been booked first half and ref gave him a lecture, then he reffed the game for Lugg afterwards and ignored his own dives. Good player though, just doesnt need the arsey side.

Their 4 could have been their best player as he was constant for them in the 2nd half , totally let himself down

Its mental sometimes you come home and think thats a pen or what a sitter or that was a foul then you see the replay and its clearly not as you thought it was.

Nearly a nasty incident for Kinchy and to his credit he still tried to nod it in.

Overall I thought the ref was one of the better ones we've seen.... Think there should have been a couple more cards, and I'm not sure how Eastleigh got a free kick when one of their players got a ball in the face! Also, surely there needs to be another rule for head injuries - Eastleigh player goes down as we're breaking through, and the drop ball gives us nothing.

The ball in the face free kick was utterly laughable.. That number four also loved to slide in studs-a-showing too. . Not so much of a hard man for going down like a burst water bed from getting a ball in the face , ridiculous decision.

Doesnt take aside the fact the game was poor , anyone suss yet why Kinch decided not to bury the ball in the net and seem to pull back?

Deffo missed Day's dead ball play again

Fazza outstanding again though

I think the game changed when Joe Healey came on and Parky went into midfield thought they both tried to get us playing. For me though we haven't looked good in front of goal for a good few weeks now. Al be it be beat Eastbourne 3.0 take thay away. Sutton 0. Sailsbury 0 Thurrock 1 Easteigh 0. We've been brilliant all year but we need to create more chances and score a few more goals we we want to be were we all know we can be.

The ball in the face free kick was utterly laughable. I think you will find it was the foot up after the ball in the face.

If you get to the play off final and you have a player injured from the semi. You need to bring players in. If you havent given them enough minutes they wont be match fit and people will say why didnt they play in the games that DIDNT MATTER when we secured 3rd place. If we come up against a side who change their shape and we need to adapt people would say why didnt we try formations in the games that DIDNT MATTER.

I couldnt care less if Daisy plays the mostly the academy team vs Basingstoke. It might even benefit us as it could keep out a Dover or Chelmsford from the play offs while giving our players a week off.

Can we all get a bit pf perspective please folks??

Yes we haven't played great in the last two games but Saturday was the first league game we have lost ALL SEASON and there are 21 other sides in this league that couldn't say that before the weekend.

The manager clearly tinkered with the formation and personnel and it didn't really work. Also the players have achieved their goal of play offs with four games to spare and, without realising, may haved eased up a bit of late.

I hear the argument about momentum going into the play offs but we want all our players fit and ready to play and, if the manager wants to change formation and tinker a bit, then he has earnt the right to do so!

In Daisy we trust.

Well that is plainly wrong......you play your best team to get the formation sorted...the understanding sorted...you cant go out there worrying about getting injured although some looked like that on saturday

Play the best team now...score some goals....get on a roll

Nope, I agree with JgFc they want to save the players for the play offs which is completely understandable! I think the boys have maybe relaxed because they know they've got to the playoffs now.
Yes the game was a bit flat and boring and yes the ball face scenario was stupid but hopefully they can pick themselves up for the playoffs.

Still dont agree (but thats what its all about)
I want a team that is flying from the first whistle against Sutton...not take 30 mins to remember where everyone should be

I guess thats why we are not the manager and Daisy is!!!
