A few weeks ago it looked like Sutton and Chelmsford would have been favoured for the last two places and while Sutton are all but therey Chelmsford fans must be getting very nervous as they look over their shoulders. Basingstoke in particular are the big threat as if they keep winning the final place will be theirs,it could make for a very interesting game on the 28th. Makes it even more satisfying that we have secured our place nice and early,i certainly wouldnt want to be in 5th place right now.
Sutton (71 points) should be safe, they've got Farnborough at home and Salisbury away.
Chelmsford (66 points) look to be in danger with Woking at home and Eastleigh away.
Basingstoke (64 points) have Eastbourne at home, Hampton & Richmond away and Welling away.
Dover (64 points) look to have the easier run in with Maidenhead at home and Weston away.
If we rest a few players and put out an understrength side on Saturday and Hampton beat us it could put them in the mood to take on Basingstoke on Tuesday. They're certainly going to be going flat out for the wins to stay up.
Chelmsford could quite easily lose both of their games which would leave our old friends Dover in with a very good chance.
That would make it interesting when we beat Sutton and if Dover beat Dartford. Final against Dover at PVR. Nice.
