Yep, it was in the programme. It did say season ticket holders could reserve seating for the playoff game next sunday, not sure if that means you can buy them in advance or just phone up and book your seat number. Before anyone says it, I will be phoning the club tomorrow :o)
Season ticket is for the league games. Some fans would have been to every game this season not had a season ticket and paid full. If you were to let Season tickets in free and not those who had paid more than season ticket holders to watch football this season its a bit out of order.
Play off games are POST SEASON games in all sports. Perhaps next year we put the season tickets up by £15 and include play offs. As Kevin says season ticket holders will still go and its a great chance to earn some money. Also some of these clubs letting season tickets in for free... havent been selling Beer for £2.50 and hot food to all of their fans all season for £2 so lets not make out Welling to be scrooge here.... As fans who have gone pre match all season will have saved a lot more than £12 for a play off game.

Still think it's an opportunity missed. The club won't make that much more; it will probably generate more through what will potentially be our biggest gate(s) of the season and behind the bars.
Bit of a PR blunder and a chance to thank season ticket holders for their support this season.

According to the other play-off contending team's fans fora, it seems we will be the only side not offering free admission to the play-off games for its season ticket holders.
On the contrary, I think its a good opportunity for the club to make some more cash ... I dont there is a season ticket holder out there that will choose not to go rather than pay their £12 - as annoying as it might be.

Bit presumtuous to assume we'll be pushing for League 2 straight away next season. I'd take a season of a solid mid-table finish before Jamie takes us up to league football
I agree.......season tickets are exactly that...for the season.....this isnt the season and is an excellent chance to make some pennies
Without going into the rights and wrongs of season ticket paying, surely the season is over when all the issues are resolved. I would have thought that the play offs are part of the season. They were in the rules when we entered the league and part of how the league determines who goes up. I would argue that our season is not over yet and hopefully will continue until the 13th May

Two things ...
Firstly, I would imagine most of the 42, now 41, that saved the club are season ticket holders, and I would have thought they should indeed get in for free. Without them we wouldnt be here at all, playoffs or no playoffs.
Secondly, the "extra bar money" ... given we wont know until short notice if we have made it to the final, and whether it will be home or away, and with no other games after that ... will the club actually have any beer ?? There have been times we have run out this season at normal games. A massive crowd in the final if we got there, and a nice sunny day, need to make the most of it.

With the first round of the Playoffs this Wednesday, is it possible there may be a local radio station broadcasting live, or a "live" thread here??? Looks like Kick-off will be 7:00am PST so I'll be able to get online before going to work.
Radio Kent could broadcast us on one of their web streams easily, even if they also broadcast Dartford live aswell. Will be interesting what they do, certainly should do it in my opinion for both semis home and away and obviously if a kent club gets through the Final.

A week is plenty of time to re-stock the bar!!
You'd have thought wouldnt you Mark ... but they seem to have this "dont buy too much" attitude and other cashflow issues, so Im sure they wont want to risk overbuying, and in doing so might underbuy.

surely if too much is bought it can just be stored away for next season? you can get crates of beer cheap from tescos that has a sell-by-date of a year later
I know you weren't, its easily solved, but the club clearly dont have, or wont, spend more cash and have money "tied up" behind the bar with no games for months. And yes it is short-sighted, Dean often has to use his own time and money to buy things and bring them to the ground etc.
