Can get a fast track bus up the hill from bottom of steps at Dartford Train Station for those that havent been there before, takes 3 or 4 minutes on bus or 15 mins walk all uphill. Think it will be segregared so may have to have the pre match refreshments away from the grounds bars unless Darts turn one of the pods into a bar for away fans which is possible.
Will have to wait for further news at the start of the week.

Let's be honest, it was a poor but tense game, good banter with the goalie and I could feel my heart pumping through a t-shirt, 2 jumpers and a coat. Agree, it was an unenjoyable 95 mins where the final whistle was the best, most memorable part of the match. I hope we can get as many fans to Dartford next week - a local derby final like this should top a 4000 crowd I rekon.
Hey - maybe Radio Kent will be interested - ha!

Was having a chat on way back with a Sutton supporter who came over from Ireland... He said the Keeper was the reserve team coach or something.
Didn't look like they brought that many more than the league fixture a few weeks back which I was surprised at. So 1400+ attendance was pretty good considering .. hopefully a few of the extra "Welling" will become regulars next season (providing people stop yelling "glory seekers" at them , i thought we wanted more people through the stiles?)
cagey game though and releived it didn't go to ET or Pens , Bring on D******D

That's pretty naive - the whole point of football is that you never get any new fans unless they either a) start watching the club when they are losing almost every week or b) they are the children of those who have been going for 20 years plus. Heaven forbid that someone might come along to a big game enjoy themselves and come back regularly. I myself first saw Welling in 85-86 and then enjoyed the "big" FA Cup games and I feel tainted with the bandwagon tag even now.......
Exactly the same for me. I started watching Welling Utd in the 1985-86 season (A good season to start), and although I dont make every game, I still support Welling 100% until I die :)
I'm a more recent "bandwagon jumper" than that! .. team I grew up with is 250 miles away, needed to watch football regularly, turned up to a "big" game .. liked it .. stayed!
Still doesn't stop me standing behind goal singing or swearing at the ref (in a West Country accent) .. Just didn't think it was needed.
We were ahead in this tie so were bound to come under pressure especially bearing in mind the importance of the game. We should be revelling in a magnificent defensive performance led by Ben Martin who was truly outstanding. The attacking prowess came in the first leg!
