Just an idea...........

As the club will be celebrating its 50 year anniversary in the 2013/2014 season, I was wondering what everbody thought about exploring the possibility of recreating one of the greatest moments in the clubs history during next pre season.
Welling United v Blackburn Rovers, FA Cup 3rd Round.
I was thinking it would be good if the club even tried to do a 'fun day' where a legends team from both clubs, who played in the FA cup match (for example Blackburn's Colin Hendry) plays the Welling legends team.
Then there could be a match with the current set of squads on the same day.

It could potentially be a real money maker if marketed correctly.

Obviously this would take a lot of time to organise, which is why it should be worked on sooner rather than later so if this idea get's good feedback then I will certainly mention it to the club, Paul White & the WUSA committee.

Just to trying to 'think outside the box' and mark the occasion which should be properly celebrated.
