LOL at over achieved last season, without the 5 point deduction 2 seasons ago, we have finished 3rd for last two seasons and lost in a play off final. Hope it fires up the players a bit to be dismissed after 2 good seasons where we won a lot more than we lost and are proven as one of the best teams at this level.

Radio Kent are utterly useless, amateur and a shambles and the broadcasting skills are way below some of the fan commentaries by clubs like Eastleigh and Chelmsford and so are the technical capabilities. Radio Kent's streams go down all the time, its hilarious.

Just a huge shame BBC Surrey are excellent and BBC Radio Kent are pathetic.

Cant wait actually.........even though the only pre season game I have been to was Saturday which looked like a Sunday morning kick about I am going full of optimism

Pretty tough start for us but one that can lay a marker down for the matches ahead

We tend to draw on the opening day, but I believe this time we can actually get a win :) Hopefully will be a big crowd too.

Why a big crowd? I havent seen any posters up around the area of the league games, Hardly anything in the press about the new season. We are out of the Kent Messenger's area now. Bexley Times has gone. We really need to strike up a "Partner" relationship with the Newsshopper. Official Media Partner etc etc especially with Radio Kent completely ignoring us last season and they will do again this season.

I think crowds could be down unless we get going in the community and advertise stuff and do a few offers like mini season tickets (books of 6 games ... 6 match tickets stapled together of their choice for £60 and bring a kid in free), Family tickets 2 Adults and upto 2 kids etc £20, ), as i said at the end of the season, i feel we should have hit the local streets within a mile with a 4 page colour booklet on the Wings with the fixtures with a voucher in there to come to a game. Its all a little too late now. Season starts in a week and the boat is disappearing off the pier.

totaly agree with jgfc had listened to radio kent on sat and most of the kent clubs got a mention about there chances for the coming season, there take on the wings was that they over achived last season and if dartford or ebbsfleet should struggle this season we would be lucky to keep jamie and his background staff

I hope you are right Dogme but I am anxious about who is going to score the goals and who is going to create the chances from midfeld. We have no-one of the calibre of Pughy from what I have seen. We look good at the back though.

Yes even the Kentish Football site is creaming themselves over Dartford!!!.....we are going to have to put up with it I fear!!!

Ref the crowd ...loads probably on holiday still....if we want more through the gate then a great start would help.

I think we will score goals from all areas and maybe not rely on one player (which I like by the way)

I want to see Jon M being a 'fox in the box' type player....picking up the scruffy ones.....

My only annoyance is that I miss the first 4 home and away games due to being in Spain (Sutton away!!! cheers) .. Mrs only gets certains times of year she can take off for holidays .. start of the season is generally always when it is , and as much as I cherish watching Wings putting 6 past Thamesmead in a PSF it's not quite the same. .. Looking forward to 1st game against H&Y on return

Luckily most bars in Almeria have Sky, so should be able to catch all games live as will no doubt be "premium matches" heh
