Video highlights of today's game should be up between 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 hours from now (Before midnight) not in HD as technical issues today with camera, but still decent enough, Hopefully better quality for Mondays game.

Perhaps calling it an own goal is a bit harsh. Mott looked caught on two minds on whether to catch the shot or tip it over. In the end he palmed it over his head into the net. This was after Fazakerley lost the ball cheaply.

Shame, as i think we started well and looked the better side.

Ok early aimless since. Faz gave ball away in midfield they broke and Mott pushed it over his head into goal. We've been long bills and nervous . just a.bit shakey. They will come good second half. Coyw

We should've won that.
Fazakaerley and Lafayette played well, but Healy was the best player on the pitch by a country mile.
Baker didn't have his best day.

Baker been superb in pre season and had hand in goal. We did well second half and deserved to win.

Well.....I am not sure we did enough to say we should have won that.....a game of very few decent chances....we lacked a cutting edge (worrying BUT it is only the first game) - slightly odd team selection and not enough creaivity....this play it out from the back is not going to be good for my nerves if we carry on that way......Bath.....I think they will have a decent season - they are nothing special BUT I think they will get better - as will we

Chelmesford next - We will see

Dartford are pointless

Dartford are pointless? They always have been!

Couldn't make today so I didnt see how well we played but by all accounts we were looking good with no early season rustiness. A point against a team used to playing higher league opposition isn't bad.

I've got high hopes for this season. I think Jamie can build on the progress made last year. COME ON YOU WINGS!!

Good to see Motty come out and apologise on Titter for his mistake. Even better is the support around him from the team
