After the press this week that all the red tape is holding up their new development (and stopping them using the finished artificial pitch as there is no safe access to it) and statements that they need to get some money in to keep them going.... How gutted are they after today, winning at Walton in FA Cup, gets abandonded at half time. Lets hope they can win the game when its replayed on Tuesday. I think its £1,750 to the winners of that game.

We seem to be getting on with them, We also cherry picked their best players in pre season. We play them in Friendlies. We have two players there on duel reg (Flacky and Enoch). They also have a manager whos worked his nuts off for nothing for years who has said they are in trouble of going under due to being messed about by the Trust/Council and Contractors.....
I think its nice to show a little thought and good wishes to a decent local little club struggling to stay in business. If they beat Worthing they will probably play us haha.

agreed on all the above though. (and Keith Mc has been a lifesaver for them as a manager) I also hate seeing clubs go under at any level .. the facilities not finished are also for the benefit of the community and not just for football purposes. People in the area are losing out if it sits there unfinished like a white elephant.
Some of you know their manager (Eros ) used to be my lodger many years ago so is an old mate. He spends a huge amount of his time at the club and has been personally responsible for getting them promoted etc
For those worried (probably not many) .. Thamesmead beat Worthing which means they get vital pennies towards staying alive and another crack in the next round
