Talking about 'beer'. I had the mis-fortune to go around Theakston's brewery a couple of weeks ago on one of the tours. To be honest, it was informative and a lovely little place full of history. The workshop where the wooden barrels are made can be viewed from inside the pub that is on site. But that wasn't the best of it, oh no, you get given a voucher each which allows you to enjoy, sorry, I mean endure what Theakston's has to offer. Each voucher can be redeemed for either a pint, 2 x half pints, 3 x thirds of a pint or half a dozen samples. Luckily for me they agreed I could swop the vouchers for some glasses of coke.
