I can't see how the League can't not get involved in the matter at this late stage, seeing as the club have publicly said that next Tuesday's game against Bath City is likely to be their last.
Ex-Truro City manager, Steve Massey, is keen to be involved in any rescue of the club, but has said that he can't solve the issue on his own and has appealed to others to come in and help him.
Debts at Truro City are now reported to be around the £700,000 mark.
It's a trek , not just for supporters but clubs , The M5 stops at Exeter , it hideous A and B roads into Cornwall from there and the train into the Westcountry is as expensive as the Orient Express .. they would never have survived anymore promotions financially and would have needed probably a similar gate that Torquay get (2000-3000 home , 200-400 away) to keep afloat and push on as a club from the Westcountry .. the Conference South is a stretch for them at best, the running of the club has been a shambles , it's a city and deserves a decent club. ... Shame as hate to see a club go under , feel sorry for their supporters , despite being a bunch of Pasty-F*ckers they made far more of an effort at PVR with numbers and banter then some clubs in our league far far nearer with supposed big aspirations who brought 7 people and huddled in a corner.
