Looked offside to me, but i didn't look the very second the ball was played. perhaps just on.
You are not on your own Moo, most assistant refs make that mistake, not easy to look in two areas of the pitch at the same time.
The solution for the lineo is to keep in line with play and be aware of play, concentrate on the line and listen for the ball to be played, and if in doubt be guided by the man in the middle.
As a spectator we have less chance of seeing a quick interchange of play and seeing players that may be off side. BUT most **** ups imo are just down to poor concentration on the part of the officials.
We played some nice stuff tonight, Two decent goals and then maybe just switched off for 15 mins but we picked up again and finished them off. The players said they would make up for Saturday and they did.
Interviews up tonight with Jamie Day and man of the match Joe Healy , Highlights to follow.
Well done boys, did the job well, professionally and confidently.

Five BSS sides went into replays... Only the Wings made it through. Billericay losing to Cambridge City, Eastbourne Borough losing to Crackers and Hendon, Bath City losing to Gosport and Weston losing to Worcester.
With 8 all Blue Square Premier ties, and only a handful of BSS sides left, then the TV games are a real possibility for sides getting through and pulling a league team at home.

What is wrong with old people in North Shields, you southern snob.
I really don't think this message board should allow this sort of personal abuse.
As a Monkey hanger I am certainly not a southern snob although I will admit to now having a problem with people that come from over the River (apart from SW6). Come to think of it I am a southern snob - and actually I am proud of it.
