We controlled the game from kick off till 2-0 up , good team performance. Saw the game out. Thats what the good teams do.
Need to keep up the run of good performances into Saturday.
Well done boys.
Interviews with Jamie Day and Sam Mott up later tonight, highlights to follow. Jake Gallagher was given Welling United man of the match by the media gang and many of the team put in big performances.

Many supporters from both teams took advantage of the £6 before 2pm promotion. bars packed and a 1,300 plus crowd as a result.
Em!! good idea to follow for the right game me thinks.
I think the Club have that in mind and have been talking to the organisers. Was a great advert for Non League and Kick It Out. Decent crowd, two teams playing football and Sky Sports there.
A Lou Reed moment, perfect day.

A really good day. Pleased for TFJ getting his first goal and congrats to Clarkey on becoming the Conference South record goalscorer. The guy is a Wings legend - have heard people question his influence and form but is still a huge influence on the field and is returning to form. Loves playing for Welling as you can see when he finds the net. Great to get home and see the goals and coverage on Sky too. Let's keep it going next week.
Really pleased with the result and performance at the weekend and the extra publicity will do no harm either.
Credit to all the team - the back four was rejigged twice during the game and they coped well against a team that has been in good form. We have given some soft goals away this season but, bar one scre in the second half, we coped very well on Saturday. Great to see TFJ get his first goal - he seems to have lacked a little confidence in recent games but you can see what that goal meant to him, his team mates and the supporters. He has bags of potential and hopefully he can be a bit more consistent and add more goals and assists to his game.
Don't often single players out but Joe Healy was (once again) a different gravy on Saturday. Makes the game look so easy at times and his composure played a massive part in the first goal. With his improved discipline (so far!) we are seeing just what a difference he makes to the team and how he makes us tick in midfield. He is also scoring a few goals and we need the midfield chipping in regularly to help Ross out. Keep it up Joe!
Healy was decent as always but what were Bromley doing for the first goal? They never picked up anyone and Ming just toddled back in his own time. Reminded me of under 9s football.

I thought that the whole side played well and it was quite a comfortable win. I thought three players are worth a special mention - Healy was outstanding again - different class at this level. Clarkey had a really good game and after an indifferent start to the season, has come back well. The player that I think has really improved is Gallagher who now really looks the part. Wasn't sure about him at first but now very impressed.
Couldn't agree more Chelwing, so glad to see Clarkie getting back to somewhere near where he used to be. Thought the whole team did well bearing in mind the amount of re-shuffles that went on
lets hope that we can take that into saturday game also any one read the non league paper about billercay vs dorchester, billercay was all over the so they should be takeing a lot of coferdince into the game so we better still have the moement from a win over bromly.

Well summed up Wingnut,I agree TFJ is a quality player in the making, Im sure his confidence will grow and we will all get the benifit.
I think that we should play baker and tfj insted of khm because today and a frew other times khm has make a lot of slepups if we wants that place he is going to have to start geting a bit stronger.
