You've got us (Blyth Spartans) at our place (Croft Park) on the 14th of January.

Before any of you start looking through your map books Blyth is a town on the North Sea coast about 12 miles North East of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Excellent, Just for that we will draw 0-0 and make you come down here on a tuesday night! Only joking fella, Weve been up to Gateshead a fair few times and played there. Any idea of decent b&bs or local hotels? Any links for us to have a look at to swat up on the Spartans?

There are plenty of B&B's in Whitley Bay, which is just down the coast from Blyth.  On the A19/A1058 inter-section there is a hotel called Menzies at the entrance of the Silverlink retail estate and on the A1/A19 inter-section there is a Travelodge.

We have two main websites, the official website www.blythspartansafc.co.uk and our supporters club website www.spartansfans.co.uk

Visiting Blyth in January you'll think you've gone to far and ended up in the Artic .

Dont think these are mugs, Ex Villa Midfielder Graham Fenton is in their team plus, like us they have a fitness coach. Think we should be ok . Nick it 1-0.

Any idea of the nearest railway station is Scott, none of your sites seem to give it?

Nearest railway station is Cramlington which is about 6 miles away but is only served by an hourly railway service and even then the station is away from the main bus routes.  I'd recommend Newcastle Central station and then either walking or getting the Metro to the Haymarket and catching the X24 which stops right outside Croft Park.

Err, don't think so!

Did 2 1/2 years with a bird from Wallsend and 6 1/2 years with one from West Monkseaton so I think I know what is coming (also Canada and Norway in minus plenty). Have done the Tynemouth to Whitley Bay walk in a body stance more akin to a ski jumper more than once.

Have less than fond memories of that bloody penicillin factory at Cambois as well....

Whitley Bay is the dog's bollocks. Northerners can go out en masse, get pissed, throw one up a young lady/ladyboy and still not have to have a knife fight.

Love it.
