He could just as easily put Theo or Kiernan up in a 4-3-3 now Kurtis is here or try Mainy with them.

Muzza, Everything is not wonderful, we have been inconsistent as a team all season. Its looking a witch hunt. Yep you are entitled to an opinion even if its not a very good one.

Can I remind everyone that an opinion can never be wrong. I thank you.

JGFC / Muzza ... I don't agree with either of your opinions on TFJ. Doesn't make them wrong though, nor me right (or wrong).

However, if someone feels the need to text you JGFC about the opinions of Muzza then that person is either very sad or very bored, or both.

It is funny how people see players and games differently. Especially when there is no way you could possibly agree with them. I guess time proves who were right and wrong.

I still think its more productive to encourage the younger ones than rip into them on a forum. Pires may have stayed had some muppets not moaned at him every game as they thought he was rubbish because he certainly didnt move for lots more money..

As Kevin said, opinions cannot be wrong. Normally, i stand behind the goal but I have sat in the stand for the two games at Bromley and have seen things differently. We can be influenced, subconciously, by comments around us which are different in a more neutral area.

I tend not to criticise players in writing or on the terraces, especially the young ones, because I don't think it helps their confidence but that is just my opinion. If there was no freedom of speech, or difference of views, this forum would become very dull.

Not sure saying "still not convinced" by someone is really attacking them but hey ho you live and learn.

If people think that I am too negative then that's there opinion. I believe I try to be honest on here and share my views be they positive or negative. I think you will find that if plays play well eg. Connor Mclaren I say so. If players don't, it's not just Theo, I tend to say that too. I will never write a player off and am more than happy to be proved wrong. I support the team if they do well for the team I'm happy.

Not that I feel I have to to but let me just justify my comments about Theo from yesterday's game. We were playing a Ryman team at the level below ourselves. For me Theo was ineffective, came inside too often didn't put any crosses into the box shots were wayward and often sliced. Hence me still not being convinced by him. If he needs 6 months before he is good enough for conference south level that's also fine. When he has a good game I will say so as I tend to on here.

Saying the jurys out is fine.

Youve said in one post 4 players arent good enough and named them, youve slagged off the team selection when you havent been there, and had another pop at the keeper when you werent there at that game either.

Strong opinions when you havent even been at games and not helping the younger players confidence. From memory youve slated Main, Mott, Clarkie, Theo and Kiernan more than once and not been at the games!!

Thats not quite jurys out is it? Its hammering players regularly and often not being at the games.

Muzza some of us come home gutted when the boys have not played well, im assuming you are among those even if you havent been at the game, sometimes it just looks like you are slagging the players off day in day out, especially when you wade in to the same players regularly.

The reason we havent got x or y player this season is we cannot afford them or the gaffer didnt want them. Its probably a good thing to get behind them. Id much rather say "He needs to be more consistent but some of his play was good, nice pass for the goal and his work rate was decent" than "Hes not good enough it was a lucky pass or a flukey goal and all he does is give the ball away or shoot like diana ross"

You can probably get a decent idea of who is playing well, and who isn't, by watching your recordings. Not everyone can go to every game!!

I go to the games - can I have an opinion that may differ from you Tom?? I did say Theo may be a good player but at the moment he is looking too anxious and maybe if he relaxed a bit, he might perfom better. I didn't rate Pires and still don't - he didn't have the work ethic for me. No doubt he had talent but didn't see it enough and thought he could have tried harder. I wish him the best - if he can get a team in the Conference that good luck to hime. It' my opinion - I am not saying I am right - just my opinion.

It was good to see Jack Parkinson at the game. I guess his brother being on the bench and against his old side must have been heard to resist. Now - there was a good player.

I have to agree... i didnt rate Pires either...when he was good he was very good ...it is just it was not very often!!!!

Wasnt too disapointed he went.....Jack however...different

Theo is a young lad that has loads of talent and will get better with time....remember the first look at Pughy we had he was lightweight etc.....then a couple of years later......the rest is history

Pughy should have stayed another season then got a better move. Hes playing at a struggling team , not scoring. Hes halted his progression. I wouldnt bet against him returning either late this season or next season. Cant fault him going as he was going full time and higher league, just said at the time and say it again was the wrong move at the wrong time. Hope he can get it going, hes sensational and talented. If he doesnt come back here can see him going Dartford.

I think Pughy should have stayed longer and it is disapointing that his career hasn't progressed. Can't blame him for going but if he had stayed I am pretty sure we would have gone up.

As for Pires - i could be wrong but i think he started the first three games of the season and hasn't started since. Two gosls so far and a dodgy penalty gained.

No Glen Johnson for me please - I think we have two better right backs than him in our current squad. Would take Berba though.

However this is supposed to be a forum about opinions - positive or negative. There were a few positives from yesterday (Connor and Kurtis the main two for me plus another clean sheet) However there were some who were given their chance and didn't take it (F-J and Mainy) The former definitely has potential and I am a fan of his but the last few times I have seen him play he has been disppoitning. I was very supportive of Mainy for his attitude and performance at Thamesmead but again, on given a start, didn't do himself justice.

I like to think I give objective opinions about the club, management and playing staff - sometimes good, sometimes not so good. People should be free to come on here and give a negative opinion on here without being chastised for it.

Very objective on Glen Johnson! A class player playing consistently well is an alternative opinion.

Loick Pires was an outstanding player for this Club. His goals and skill are on video for all to see. We have nothing like him now and are all the poorer for it.

Pires has appeared in almost every game for Woking and started quite a lot of them:

http://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=48995

Not sure how anyone could say we don't miss him, very talented player for this level and one of the best players we've had in recent times at getting a goal from nowhere

Don't think it's fair to say if it wasn't for certain fans he'd still be here JGFC. Obviously wasn't for money that he left but he did move up a level. I'll admit certain parts of the crowd gave him (and Parkinson) far too much stick but i very much doubt that was in his mind when a Conference side came in for him

Whilst on the subject of lanky strikers, Curtis Guthrie looked bloody good on Sunday did n't he? Conference South defenders should be quivering in their boots at the prospect of a Lafayette/Guthrie partnership!

Agree Chris. Showed some really nice touches. I think he is a prospect.
