I thought they were the best team to come to PVR this season but we dug in and wore them down. We looked the more likely to score at the end despite them being full time.
Suprised we didnt go in losing at half time. Their No4 bossed the midfield majority of tthe game but penetration let them down ultimately. Great goal from us after pressing second half and agree that Anthony took MOM for me.
Hoping that Curtis and Ross form a good partnership up front, both look strong and 442 formation looked good today
Anthony deserved MOTM for me. Fraser had a very good game and arguably did the flashier stuff by putting in two Bobby Moore-esque tackles, but Anthony mopped up absolutely everything that came his way, both in the air and on the ground.
442 every week please Daisy. It leaves us a little more open at the back but we're so much more of a threat when Roscoe has another man up with him - and the vast majority of teams at this level wont be able to handle them. If Mainy is going to be an impact sub which looks likely, it also means we dont have to change our system to accommodate him when he comes on
A shout out to Sam Mott, who didn't have too much to do despite us being under the cosh at times. Kept his focus and made a good save low down, and a great claim in a crowded box in the second half. Much improved
And that volleyed pass out to the left wing that Jake Gallagher made in the second half, Phwoarrrrr

Best second half this season imo, let me point out the workrate and overall good play of Jamie, setting the example and encouraging our young players.
An excellent team perfomance we can build on.
Cant wait for next Saturday. Can we as supporters be a bit more vocal and appauld the good things we see, and less critcal when a young player makes a genuine mistake. We have our part to play.

The majority of the team are young players! Only Jamie Day was over 25 in yesterday's 12 players used.
I think they both played similar ones, both volleys out to the left. That's what happens when you're spoilt for choice with top technical midfielders I suppose
Really good backs to the wall stuff, shame there were not many in attendance, and very few Salisbury fans considering they are top. Hopefully we will draw more for next weeks cup game.
I have it on good authority that Loui is 62. Born in Guys hospital London 2nd June 1950. Weight 9lb 4oz.

Is that his birth weight or his current weight Trigger.
I mean, I know Faz is a bit on the small side but blimey he must weigh more than that!!!!!!!!!!!!
My dear Baz at the bar, although you think your point is funny, in reality, there is a very serious issue. Until now "little Loui" has been keeping a dark secret, he has been fighting with his weight. He is in fact currently around 40 stone. This dark secret has been kept away from the fans by the club which has had large convex glass fitted around the entire pitch. As you look at Faz through the curved glass sheeting, it transforms his bloated body into a vision of an athlete.
After having a word with the management team, they fear that come Saturday he may take up to half an hour to get from one end of the pitch to the other. This could cause problems for the rest of the team to get back and defend whilst "little Loui" waddles back to his position.
Loui Faz has been an inspiration to our youngsters and by letting himself go like this, he would be letting down a generation of young people who look up to him as an example.
The money raised by the share issue has had to be put aside for building work needed to widen the changing room doors and strengthen the seating an insider has informed me.
Doctors and nutritionists at the FA's elite centre for flabbery sports stars are confident that he will lose enough weight for the visit of Newport as long as he sticks to the implemented training programme.
Come on Loui, you can do it!

I must bow to your (far superior than mine) knowledge Trigger.
I am sure that, with such an Inspirational figure as yourself leading him, Loui will indeed be running up and down the line with uncommon vigour at PVR on Saturday.
Very much to the detriment and dismay of Newport and their fans.
