After playing for a high standard club and being released it often deflates a player mentally, as this happened to me. But with my will and determination and my belief in my ability I know I can regain my place at a professional club and win a professional contract. Opportunities like this dont come around often, so I intend to put my all out on the pitch and have no regrets. I know in order to be successful I have to be willing to give up sleep because if you go to sleep I might miss the opportunity to be successful!

I deserve a trial as I am a committed, passionate and talented footballer. In the past, I have had a trial for Charlton but was unsuccessful in my attempts. I would therefore snatch at the chance for another opportunity to showcase my talent to professional clubs. Playing football is my life and I have the right attitude to play at a higher level. I am a team player and give 100% to the team and my team mates. This has been personified by my commitment to Corinthians FC where I travel 140 miles, twice a week, to train and play matches whilst gaining higher education at university. I strive to push myself to the highest possible standard and I am committed to becoming better in all aspects of the game. This desire to improve has meant I train 5 times a week at the gym to enhance my physical presence on the pitch and my overall strength and speed. In terms of experience, I have played for Welling United reserves where I also played a number of first team games for the conference-south side. I have also had experience playing at district level for Gravesham and have played in the early rounds of the FA cup for Corinthians FC. In addition to this, I feel I deserve a trial as I am a versatile player who has an exceptional knowledge of the game. I can play on either wing and I am comfortable using both feet. I have also played in a variety of positions at club level and I would be just as comfortable playing right back as I would be playing left wing. I believe this adaptability and knowledge of other positions is vital for playing at a higher level and I feel I deserve a trial because of this. I also feel that my experience playing at lower league level has put me in good stead for coping with the competitiveness of professional football. I have the determination to work from the bottom, comfortable with hard graft and I am a keen learner. I therefore feel that my determination and passion to play football should enable me to make the most of the trial if I am granted it. An opportunity to trial for professional clubs of this stature would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for me as playing professional football would be a dream for me.
