The apparant "handful" of wings fans were excellent, a good 100-125 of them in all areas of the ground.

As I walked round the ground for the second half I heard someone say "I thought they would bring more than this." I wonder what they expected!

125 ish at least, away against Hornchurch on a Boxing Day, with transport horrendous with strikes and reduced or no service, is an excellent away following and the noise they created was superb. Jamie said in his interview we have the best away fans in the league. When we get half the teams come to PVR and bring 20 and half of them bring a car load... to see people have a dig at our away support on a Boxing Day when it was substantial is quite funny. At Hornchurch by design the fans go all around the ground and we had plenty in both sides of the ground in different areas. Everyone could see and hear that.

I think 125 could be conservative, they had 260 for a game recently? There were Wings fans everywhere.

Yes the comment that they thought we would be better made me laugh too.....good job for them we were not I guess.....could have been 8 as it was....a poor team and the fact that Kinch was in showed we had them watched!!

Table looking good......if we can keep playing over xmas and others have postponments then it could be better......better the points than the games in hand!

If they defend like that most weeks you can't blame them for moaning. The latter two goals in particular were defensive horror shows.

Barry Ashby is quoted this week as saying he is confident of nabbing Dover and Salisbury for the top spot and on that showing, and the run we're on, it's hard to argue against him.

Kiernan was onside by a mile for the first, Looks a great decision for the penalty claim. The big talking points they claim were against them look clearly correct decisions.

Hornchurch normally get around 300 so the fact there were 483 could well mean at least 150 Wings fans

Amazing listening to their supporters on the video highlights - "Ain't even a foul, ref!" for the foul that on Acheampong. I thought at the time it should have been a straight red and I think the video proves that.
