Wont be easy they arent a bad side but we stood up at their place so you hope we can dictate at home and play our usual fluent game after winning the early battle of which you can be sure they will be at us early on to try and stop us getting control.
It would be fantastic to start the year with a win at home, hopefully we can get a few people down there and Hornchurch bring a decent number.

Will try and find out any details for any Happy Hour etc. Should have recent highlights in the Wings Bar of the last 2 or 3 games on the big screen from 90 minutes before kick off.
The season DVD will be onsale for just £10. 17 games highlights with replays/slow mos and rolling video review of the first 5 months, comes in a DVD box and printed colour sleeve. Anyone whos pre ordered one will have theirs in the shop in their name, should be a few extras in there aswell so pop in and get a copy, its very decent in my opinion.
Hopefully Paul will post details about the raffle and the xmas season ticket state of play plus the half season tickets which start with the Hornchurch game i think.
Did you see Bromley? Tonbridge? Billericay? Eastbourne? Farnborough?
Not bad = Mid table ish, thought thats how good they were and on their day they will beat sides at the top. So we need to be bang up for it, especially work rate.

Yes...of course I was and they were equally terrible...didn't think Tonbridge were that poor on the day....It could and maybe should have been 6 on boxing day and on a better pitch we would have run riot.....however what IS right is that tomorrow is another day and in this league everyone can have their day (we have ours LOL)

just to corrcet you bromly and just above the drop zone.
To keep our winning run going into the new year will be great, winning is the way to attract more followers.
My new years resolution will be to talk to friends, work collegue's etc about Welling United and get the message out there.
Primarily, to any football supporter of any club that non league is worth giving a chance, from a cost point of view, and overall value for money.
If we all try to encourage people to come to PVR it will in time make a difference.
Lets not under-estimate any opposition, this league is competitive top to bottom. With the right attitude we can get a result tomorrow and start the new year how we hope to.
Healy's passing was sublime. No problem with today's match sponsors choice of Man of the Match, Ant was good at the back and scored two goals. Work rate was good through the team with Ross and Kurtis putting in a shift up front. Not sure Motty had a shot to save?
Interviews up late tonight with Jamie Day and Anthony Acheampong. Highlights over next day or two.

Goal was partly down to quick work from Mott is getting ball forward following a corner. Lafayette misplaced his pass, but Healy won it back well before chipping a perfect pass for Gallagher to take on his chest and slot home.
Blue Square South's website still states the phantom 35th minute Reynold goal (actually a yellow card). Sky & BBC just copy their website so a mistake there goes out on teletext
Another excellent showing yesterday from the whole team. Whilst Daisy and Kiernan picked up individual awards it is clear this is about the collective team on and off the pitch.
The back four and keeper have stepped up over the last few months and we have plenty of options in midfield and can change the formation game by game without it appeating to affect the team.
The second goal yesterday was different class - brilliant set up play by my player of the season so far (Joe Healy) and well taken by a player who must be the most improved since the start of the season (Jake Gallagher)
