The club was saved by the fans at the last minute, will this unofficial forum be?
In the past week I have received 2 expressions of interest in taking over the moderation of the forum.
One enquiry was made via Paul, our commercial manager, but I understand this did not come to fruition.
The second I had hoped to tie up by today but will certainly do so by 6pm tomorrow. In the absence of any further expressions of interest, should this not come to fruition by 6pm I will ask JgFc to take the forum, and the associated WUSA forum offline.
Subject to discussions with JgFc I expect that the Fantasy Wings area will be retained but restricted to those participating in the competition.
Note: Edited to refelect confirmation from Paul that the enquiry was on behalf of someone else and not himself.

Admins can be anonymous, could set up admin accounts admin1 admin2 that have power to delete posts and members. It would degenerate into a farce with no admins and you would have the Welling United haters out in force on anonymous names.

Much harder to sue if no one is actually responsible for its content I imagine, would come down to the individual poster then.....
I am not a lawyer but part of the agreement made with Sparklit (the forum provider ) says You agree to indemnify, hold harmless, and (at Sparklit's request) defend Sparklit and its officers, directors, shareholders, and representatives from and against any and all liability, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including but not limited to attorneys' fees and expenses) incurred in connection with any claim related to (a) your breach of any term, condition, representation, warranty, or covenant in this Agreement; or (b) the information you supply to Sparklit or make available to any third party, including your registration data and the content of the web pages corresponding to the URLs you submit to Sparklit. This obligation shall survive any termination of your relationship with Sparklit.
thus as I understand it should there be any legal issue the registered member (which by the way is not me nor anyone who takes over the moderation) would be held responsible for any complaint which actually led to legal action.

Now now JgFc I'm sure you recall the user who registered as Harvey. The comment is wasted on our newer users but surely not on the longer standing members.
