Disappointed with all the reports and Jamie Day's interview as they've all overlooked the Hornchurch goal in the 35th? minute as described on the Blue Square website. Must admit I missed it myself.....
7 should have been booked for simulation again (Never seen a player booed so many times at PVR for their antics, hes on a different planet to Ricky). Tomlinson should have been sent off. Had already been booked for one foul then went in late on Kinch (Mark mentions it above). The only thing wrong with this ref is he falls for the platoon screams too many times. He did ok though as most have done this season apart from one or two who we all know about.
Over all we have had some decent refs this season. One or two poor ones but we havent had out favourite refs yet, then it could get interesting and show how lucky we have been with decent refs for a lot of games this season.

Nope the side was excellent last two seasons, And there were some terrible penalty decisions and red card decisions and match changing decisions by a few refs who cropped up all the time. They change seasons and ruin games and it always seems to go against you from the same refs...
This year apart from a couple of usual suspects the refs have been decent, some of them are new and others we know but all seem to be refereeing to a more consistant and accurate basis, Save the usual couple of lost causes. Its refreshing to see most referess doing very well. We just need to swerve getting the bad ones who have a history of destroying us.

Surprised to see their match reporter thought that we chopped one of their players down several times as we considered him the main danger. In 180 minutes against them they had no players that were a danger to us at all. They appear, from what we have seen of them, to be a poor side.
Attendance, disappointing given the run we are on. I know Hornchurch didn't bring many, but would have hoped for nearer to four figures. Lets hope the run continues and the players get the extra support they deserve.
Alot of people still don't know about our positive run which is why we need to put the word out via social networking groups and local papers like newsshopper.
Since we started adding comments to, and 'sharing' the match reports on the Newsshopper website, it's slowly starting to creep into the top ten read articles on the site which is a first and invaluable free publicity!
If a few people could add some comments to the article it would be much appreciated. Even if it's just a short comment saying it was a great game. The more commented articles tend to attract quite alot more attention.
Instead of discussing the match on here, why don't we discuss on the Newsshopper site below the article?
Interesting observations about their striker? Eyong.
"Chopped down 6 times" He may have been fouled 6 times but I don't think anyone in their right mind would say he was chopped down and none of them deserved a card as they were all innocuous challenges.
No mention though of the despicable tackle he made on Faz and deservidly got a yellow.
I would like to say how good the officials were. Mr Degnarain and his crew will be welcomed back any time. Pity we don't get such good officials like that every week.

I could not include it im my match report as I could not believe that the most talentless player seen over the 180 minutes could possibly have scored a goal (other than an oggy).

Give him some credit for the largest squeal heard at PVR for many a year.
Compare that to the crunching tackle between their 4 and Scott Kinch in which he was clearly hurt, having lost his shinpad, yet got up and tried not to show it.
I'd agree the referees this season have been far better than last season, but is that also because we play better football and are a more successful side ?? Less potential decisions to go against us ??
