Well....that is excellent and just shows that a lot of the 'criticism' we get from a few local rivals is just drivel.....Grimsby will have been to some decent stadia (far better than ours) and as far as I can see I have not seen ANY negative comments about us - the supporters, the ground or the way they were treated
This all bodes well for the future
I too spoke to a few on Saturday and they had been really looking forward to their visit to PVR
I would like to welcome them back maybe for a pre season friendly - especially as they have a LOT of exiles in the London area
Extra tea bar, Queueing ropes in bar, new ticketing/passes, Extra stewarding, Enough stock ... All showed organisation was very good.
In the past people have moaned, but the praise from the Grimsby fans showed the club did well and people will notice and word of mouth will get people coming or coming back.
The club got a lot of praise for getting it right, need to keep up.
As for the friendly, if we are having this 4 team pre season competition over a weekend...
How About inviting
Us, Grimsby Town, Maidstone United and a French, Dutch or Belgian Team? (Or Blackburn Rovers).

One thing that struck me was that I did not hear one Grimsby supporter suggesting the ground or the bar was unpleasant (unlike our friends from the end of the railway line) although the toilets behind the stand did get some raised eyebrows!
I can only echo what has already been said. Really enjoyed the day and it was great chatting with your fans in The Wings Bar pre-match and afterwards in the pub next to the ground.
Good luck in your promotion push and if you do go up you'll have no worries in the BSP as there are several teams far worse that yourselves on Saturdays showing.
