TOMORROW's CHARITY BAND NIGHT IS ON

I have had a couple of enquiries about tomorrow's Charity Band Night in aid of DGSMyourchoice (affiliated to MENCAP) organised by the Supporters Association.  I can advise that both bands have confirmed today and THE GIG IS ON.

Come along, see 2 bands and help a well deserving charity which works towards enabling people with learning disabilities to develop self-fulfilment and independence.

Entry on door £4 or £3 with flyer/WUSA members.

Doors open at 7.30 so see you then.

Very good news indeed. Hopefully the bad weather won't have a too detrimental effect on the turnout and that there is real ale on sale!!

Just a note to say well done to all involved in getting last night's charity band night on. Due to previous commitments it meant that Matron and myself could not stay for the entire evening. However, good music and good company made our short visit an enjoyable one.
In all honesty I had not heard of DGSM but now that I have, it seems to be a really worthwhile cause that helps bring a lot of happiness to many people with learning disabilities.
