Bath City Away Travel - Not enough interest

Dear all

We have had just 13 people come back to confirm they would like to go on a coach to Bath.  The numbers are just too low and a risk for WUSA to pay out on the hire of 16 seater, quote is £495 for minibus, with current numbers this works out at £38 per person.  This is a very high cost.

My suggestion would be to see who is driving and see if people can help with lifts, for example I will be able to offer x 3 people a lift home from Bath but not there

Sorry we didn't get response needed.

Matt

Would it not make better sense to do group train travel like Charlton Athletic?

I doubt that there is a train back. Even then everyone would be stuck in London.

But then again, even the coach would have been a nightmare for those working in the morning.

For info on best way to get home when back in London go to the Transport for London website ( www.TFL.gov.uk ) and use their journey planner.

That is what I looked at but it tells lies. Best way to Blendon on their site was bus to Trafalgar Square N89 to Bexleyheath Bus Garage cross the road and get N89 back to Bexleyheath Clock Tower then the N21.
