Teams may send the kids for one or two games to give the players a rest especially those 15 so points in hand of the play off chasers.
Not saying it would be right but you have to look ong term near the end of the season if you have to play 5 or 7 games in 14 days. Could be a farce, so lets win it.

bad news for us, gonna have a major backlog compared to Salisbury. could really do with Farnborough getting something out of the game tonight and a win for us on Saturday
The positive is extra rest while they have to play. I can see Farnborough beating them, no mugs at home and will be furious at having points deducted. Come on you Farneys.

As Jamie Day said in the interview the other day, Jake Gallagher is at least 10 days away from recovery. At least we might have him back for when the match is on. Plus Kurtis Guthrie is injured as well. Plus the Exeter striker Bath have got on loan will have gone back by then as well.
Everyone's got games in hand at the moment. Looking at the weather forecast for the foreseeable future the league are gonna have no choice but to extend the season otherwise there'll be teams that simply won't be able to field a first XI through injuries. The league simply can't expect a team to play a game every 3/4 days for 2-3 months.

I very much doubt the league will extend the season as the play-off dates are set in stone. We had a similar number of postponements two seasons ago and, even with a squad of 16, we just about coped - although were a bit short on subs for some matches!
If the bad weather continues through February there must be serious doubts whether the play off dates will be achievable. In BSBN, FC Halifax, certainly one of the favourites to make the play offs, have so far played just 17 league games. If the Conference refuses to contemplate changing the dates, they may well be facing three games every week towards the end of the season.
Farnborough missed penalty. I saw earlier on Salisbury's forum that they were asking to have some of our "luck". Well there they go
Our luck in winning 10 on the trot in the league. They should ask for a bit of Man Utd luck at the same time, or maybe the luckiest of them all Barcelona
The more we train and the more we give on the pitch the luckier we get. thousands of games been played in conference south and weve equalled a record. Let them get rattled and just keep our heads down and not jump around if we over take them. they were 13 points clear at the top at one stage.
