Excellent result guys! Although it was cold today it was a shame to see the attendance fairly low again. Especially when many other teams saw increased attendances. Bath had an attendance of 1073!

All the more reason why we need to make sure we share the match highlights and match reports when they become available. Especially the Newsshopper report. We did very well sharing that report last week but hardly any comments were posted below the article. We need to make the most of the free social networking tools we have available. Charlton lost again. Hopefully we can convince a few more addicts that Welling are better value for money. Let's all spread the word!

Also can as many fans as possible send a message to the Non-league paper and BBC Non-League football show about the win and record we've broken. Would be a nice bit of free publicity!

This will be hard, they are all effort and physical with a bit of pace thrown in to turn you round and counter attack. Hopefully we win the battle early and get a massive 3 points. Still struggling to see how we lost down there after battering them  when they were in real form and at the top of the table.

We owe them one so hopefully we get revenge today. Games Vs them are not walk overs though.

Happy hour in the Wings bar for Saturday's home match Vs Dorchester Town pitchero.com/clubs/wellingu

Barney was solid and got forward, made one great tackle and slotted in well, was my man of the match (and most people after who i spoke to) . Ross and Joe contenders for man of the match . Sponsors gave the official man of the match to Ross and can see why, the 6 kicked him all over the park and up he pops to smash home the winner and have the last laugh. #HeScoresWhenHeWants

Good win against a very physical Dorchester side especially when pegged back twice. Second goal we had a mare their guy had the freedom of Bexley in between Big Ben and Fraser.

Interviews with Jamie Day and Barney Williams plus highlights up over next day or two.

Moo... Clarkie got cracked from behind by Theo!! and smashed his head into another player in the celebration, one for the end of season highlights.

Oh and apparently Salisbury "extended their lead at the top of the table" today - according to the Blue Square website. Referring to them reducing their goal difference deficit by one as extending their lead is looking at it in a very very very positive light!

Meanwhile, no mention of us setting a new league record. Joke

This is part of a posting on the Salisbury City Forum

Part of the crowd were getting excited,as the score from Welling was filtering through, that they were at 2-2, but they got a latish goal to win 3-2. But if we keep winning, keeping the pressure on, there run wont last forever, it has to end eventually.

Thought we were putting the pressure on Salisbury with 6 points behind and 3 games in hand.

516 is a decent crowd , bitterly cold and Dorchester didnt bring half of the odd 16. We are unlucky we take plenty away and apart from Dover, Chelmsford 100+ and over 50 from Tonbridge and Bromley the other teams could bring their away attendance on a tricycle.

Important to try and get friends, charlton fans and colleagues and family there on Tuesday to bolster the gate. Get posting on Twitter and Facebook and other league teams forums if you can.

Ouch Lee Clarke Lee Clarke...

Dorchester have two players who are even bigger than Ben Martin. Looks like it'll be a physical game today...

Pretty bad defending there - had several chances to get a challenge in and didn't.
We have dominated so far, so a shame that we've conceded such a bad goal and not yet converted our possession into more goals.

Dorrchesterls goal has shaken us up and we look uncomfortable now - reminiscent of the Truro match.

We just gave them a free header from a corner and were lucky they put it wide. Come on Welling!

Dorchester 6 elbowed Lafayette and ref missed it. Lafayette attempted retribution by barging the 6 back and got booked.

One all half time.
We're not playing badly, but could do with a more physical presence in the middle. I'd like to see Kinch on in place off either Hughes-Mason or Fairweather-Johnson, neither of whom have got particularly involved in the first half.
How their 6 hasn't even been booked I don't know. could have been sent off for any of 2 or 3 incidents.

And apparently it's all kicking off in the tunnel. Same old Dorchester, we don't get this with most other teams.

No subs at half time, but I suspect that we'll make one soon if we don't get an early goal.

Clarke also appeared to get walloped in the face in the build up to the goal. Ref didn't see that either.

Two all. Awful defending from a free kick.
Shouldn't have been a free kick in the first place, but that was such poor defending.

Excellent job lads!!! What we need now is a Bromley goal, take 3 points out of Salibury's lead.

Gallagher just got booked for practically nothing, but the 6 who has been fouling and elbowing all game has had nothing. The ref has been terrible, but let's hope we can win in spite of him.

Lafayette got man of the match. He's been good, but I thought Williams and Healy were better.
