Newsshopper Dorchester match report (get sharing and commenting)

Hi all. We've had the Dorchester match report on the Newsshopper site since last night yet NOBODY has commented, and not many people have shared the article via Facebook or Twitter.

Given that our record run was given no special mention on either the BBC Non-league show or the Non-League paper we all need to go that extra mile to create our own publicity via social networking.

Gates are still pretty low at the moment, and having a significant effect on the club's finances. We've managed to get match reports into the top 10 most read and top 10 most commented section of the Newsshopper site before (which is worth potentially £1000's in free publicity). So there's no reason we can't do it again.

The lads have just broken a record for most consecutive wins in the league. Now it's our turn to break a record of our own by making a Welling match report the most read article. A bit of a challenge it may seem but a damn sight easier than 11 consecutive wins.

The lads have put in some incredibly hard work on the pitch. Let's start putting in some equally hard work off the pitch. Let's get sharing and commenting!

Good post we should be getting over 20 shares and likes and comments, Its great publicity, if everyone takes 2 minutes to register and post a comment and share the social networking its great publicity. Also people can comment on the Kent online reports and articles aswell.

If people cant leaflet drop then spending 5 minutes per game promoting and commenting can save all of that. It costs you nothing and you will be helping. Every person that does it will keep the club in the spotlight and advertise it. As i write this the match report from yesterday is the most shared article. We can get it the most commented on aswell.

When you click on the Facebook 'like' button it's worth actually posting the 'like' on Facebook so friends and family can also see the match report. You'll be amazed at the discussion it creates!

Currently the 4th most read article on Newsshopper! It won't take too much to get it up to first.

We've currently had 20 Facebook 'likes' but only 6 comments.

Let's keep the Facebook 'likes' coming (don't forget to post it onto Facebook so friends and family).

We also need more comments. Even if it's just one short sentence, it makes a real big difference in pushing up the readership. It only takes a couple of minutes to register on the newsshopper site and post a comment.

Just think if we could each convince just one friend or relative to go to a Welling game our attendance would double overnight.

Don't forget to share the highlights and interviews link as well:
