Presumably we won't be rearranging Bath away for Tuesday 26 March, then...

Yes, I saw that too Tom.  It seems a sensible arrangement - nothing on our site yet though.  I hate to admit it, but I am warming very much to Chelmsford City and their supporters. Probably because they appear to be an informed bunch and are a former, long-established, Southern League side like Bath City.  I used to enjoy trips to their old stadium at New Writtle Street  - a real old-fashioned, big, ground with some great pubs nearby until the local brewery (Ridleys?) was taken over/shut. Never understood why their fans behind the goal used to chant Land Of Our Fathers though. Looking forward to the game in March - just as long as they don't nick points off us if we need them!

They are always pretty sensible especially on their forum....they know good (or bad) football when they see it

If this date change is correct, the poster on their forum is right when he says that there are no trains out of London to Welling on Good Friday.  The national rail journey planner shows that neither the Bexleyheath or Sidcup lines will operate so anyone travelling by train will have to get off at Charlton and get a 486 bus to the ground or at Woolwich Arsenal or Plumstead and get a 96 bus to the ground.  This probably adds about twenty minutes to half an hour on the journey time but hopefully it won't deter too many away fans from what could be a very important game for both clubs..

Not a good idea in that case.

No, not with Eastbourne on the Monday. 3 games in 6 days would be unnecessary

At least with Charlton at home on 30th, maybe more CAFC supporters will visit PVR on Good Friday

The best bet for them is to get the tube to North Greenwich then the 486 which will stop opposite PVR.

Agreed.  Definitely the best way for the Chelmsford fans, changing at Stratford.

There are no trains all weekned, so it doesn't make much difference which day its on.

Indeed.  I would think this makes a coach or coaches essential for many people for Eastbourne on Easter Monday.

Another error on the increasingly unreliable Blue Square South site with the kick off on Good Friday being shown as 7.45.  The Staines away game called off some time ago is also still showing as on in the fixtures.  Did anyone fail to go the game at Sutton as a result of the site reporting incorrectly on the morning of the match that the game had been postponed?  Both the Isthmian and Kent League sites are far better maintained than this one which is disappointing considering it relates to a higher league.
