Great chance to get 3 points tomorrow if we pass, move and have the work rate off the ball. Hopefully some extra noise from the terraces will spur the boys on. It wont be easy as some sides will fancy playing us now so we need to work to get on top then put them away.

Can everyone make sure they get as many friends/family down as they can tomorrow.

It's amazing how quickly some people change their minds about going to a Welling game. Just had a chat with a mate. Mentioned the record run, and promotion push and he was still quite reluctant. Mentioned Happy Hour in the Wings bar and he changed his mind in an instant!

Big Ben had a good game , Kiernan ran his socks off second half. Thought De'Reece confirmed what we thought on Tuesday that hes a good player.

Thought the referee had a mare. Some of the decisions defy belief. The stands couldnt believe it.

Great win , Havant offered little except for their 7 diving all game. Another good save by Motty near the end.

Nice to see lots of sponsors there today, thought their choice of Man of the Match was spot on.

Interviews with Jamie Day and Ben Martin and Highlights to follow over the next day or so.

Formation a bit odd. Main seems to be playing on left wing and it doesn't suit him. Think we should go to 442.

Half time nil nil. No real clear cut chances, but we've been better side.
Ref is awful, totally lost control. Several stoppages in first half but just 1 min injury time. Inconsistent decisions and seemingly a random approach to giving bookings. Ref's not the reason why it's only nil nil, but he's re ally not helping.

We seem to be playing proper 442 this half. Let's hope it makes a difference.

Scrappy win but back to winning ways at least. Glad the referee lost his accumulator... Worst ref EVER! (Watch the highlights)

Martin got the sponsor's MOTM and he was good, but I felt that Acheampong was our best player. Lafayette and Gallagher also worked hard and did well, and Theo made a difference when he came on. Aside from them and Mott, all the others were below par today, but we were the better team in that match and deserved the three points! We need to up our game a bit for Tuesday though, I think.

Good to see the attendance up a bit as well (609). Third highest in the league.

http://www.bluesqsouth.com/results/0,20984,,00.html

Imagine how high it could get if we actively promote the club.

Attendance was good given they brought about 12. Nice to see lets try and push the game on Tuesday and get over 500.

Think there is a good chance for a high attendance on Tuesday as all school are on half term. Litho ugh a few of them have quite a few trips abroad but still think we could get about 450-600 on Tuesday. COYW

Attendance nothing to do with the fact Millwall and charlton and Charlton we're away and it was a heatwave by Febuary standards? No coincience as I did see a few faces from my Charlton going days. KHM also only plays well when we are 3-0 up.

Of course that helps, however there have been other weeks where that's the case and attendance has been poor

As I've mentioned in the match report thread, if everyone could share the newsshopper article via the twitter and Facebook buttons, and comment below the article itself.

I don't know if the matter of developing leafleting teams was raised at the WUSA meeting but in the mean time, social networking gives us the opportunity of sending out 1000's of interactive leaflets for FREE at the click of a button. Making this the most cost effective and efficient way of getting the word out and increasing gates/revenue.

What's that all about? Ask the Havant defence if he didn't play today! He put in some excellent crosses and twice he set up opportunities for Jon Main. on top of that he should have had a penalty in the last minute.

One thing I like about him is that if he misses a chance he doesn't go AWOL and will bust a gut to be in a good position next time Welling are on the attack.

Does a ref have to show a yellow card to book someone? Because IF Gallagher was somehow booked when their 4 stopped Joe taking a free kick... Jake wasnt shown a card and the ref was writing and looked at his shirt number, then he booked their 4. On the Match report there is no booking for Jake but the ref clearly looks to be booking him and then goes on to book their 4 after finishing with Jake. IF he didnt book Jake then i think he was asking for his phone number and facebook details.

As we have said before Mark, when they make bad decisions, thats life... When they make bad decisions all for one team and let the oppo get away with MURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRDER as Taggart said... thats questionable. Anthony had his leg grabbed and was hauled down when away from their forward, no booking, it was a cast iron cynical yellow all day long, Their 4 pushed Ross infront of the lino then barged him straight after, no booking, plenty of tackles that we were booked for similar, no booking and often no free kick, Their defender checked Kiernan in the box and brought him down, no penalty, Their 7 dived extravagantly and threw his legs in the air... Daisy booked. It was happening all game. It was baffling.

People in the ground were questioning his integrity, and not just a few. He could have had a stinker, it happens.... but it all looked one way to many. Refs have been demoted for similar displays over the last couple of seasons. The assistants didnt help him to be fair but he still gave some amazing decisions and ignored lots, Havant seemed to benefit greatly from the balance of decisions.

I dont like having Kent refs as we seem to come off worse, whether thats them trying not to look biased towards us i dont know. But a few of the notable poor displays have been Kent refs in recent seasons. Thankfully most of the refs this season have been decent even though naturally you get a few poor decisions.

When we play better sides who try to play we see Welling play at there best. Yesterday we had to tough a result out.

Keeping a clean sheet against ugly teams deserves credit.

We can beat the best in this league by playing quality football. We beat the physical teams, with not much else to offer, when our defence and midfield step up and win first and second ball.

IMO we did that yesterday with not the best officials. We did well and can go on another run.

Adapt and win.

Not sure he does...there have been times they have forgotten them altogether....he did make some very odd decisions yesterday.......then left the obvious ones alone

Still think one of the best was that guy who came down from the North as he had a family event down here......had no pre conceived idea of us and refereed it as it should be

Graeme Fyvie of Sunderland, excellent ref.

We had Stuart Butler Vs Bath and Ebbsfleet at home this season.Bath he was ok i seem to remember when we drew, Ebbsfleet he wasnt and should have sent off Patrick Ada as he had already been booked then he hauled down Kiernan.

It was commented upon on the terraces that Jake wasn't shown a yellow card. Their number four twice raised his hands to Ross Lafayette right in front of the linesman in the first half yet no action was taken. I don't know how the thug got through the full 90 minutes!
