Great question, mine was against Ulysses in the Spartan League, which now crazily enough is the South Midlands league. Someone will probably know what Ulysses stands for.
Tom - Played my first ever senior game against Ulysses for Alma Swanley aged 16 in 1976/77 season at Motspur park ( Fulham Youth train there) believe it was the Greater London league before amalgamating with the Spartan League
Ulysses i believe has University of London connections
Sorry Tom - first Welling game. playing for Alma Swanley when beating Welling 1-0 in F A Vase 1978/79 season John Bartley played

Coincidently 1st ever game re Welling was when Alma Swanley beat Welling 1-0 in F A Vase 1978/79 - John Bartley was playing for Welling
You are right Ulsterwings, the Bracknell Town game was his last and I missed it because my brother got married that day.
My first away game was actually a neutral - the 1979 Kent Senior Trophy Final against Herne Bay at Sittingbourne's old Bull Ground which is now Sainsburys. Lost 1-0 and remember feeling choked when Peter Cooper got on the coach to thank everyone for coming along.
First away away game was 1-1 draw at Fleet Town on 23rd December 1979, Ray Burgess scroing our goal. Was surprised how sparse the ground seemed compared to PVR but really got hooked from that point.
First game was against one of the west country teams a few games before Bill Williams left us. First time was in main stand next game tried out new stand but after that returned to main stand where there was better banter taking place. That's when I first met Alan S and "his old mate".
remember going away to Fisher (possibly New Years day) and Dave Mehmet being taken off limping, getting pelters from the Wings faithful and jumping the hoardings to have a go back....
Didn't Dererk Richardson when playing for Maidstone/Dartford once also climb over the fence to remonstrate with someone? Signed for us soon after-all forgiven.
I remember the Mehmet incident, also remember another Fisher game their keeper Engin Salih jumping in the crowd at the park end at full time to have a go
