If you fancy going the scenic route how about this....
09:44
Abbey Wood [ABW]
Gravesend [GRV]
10:10
10:43
Gravesend [GRV]
Ebbsfleet International [EBD]
10:46
11:01
Ebbsfleet International [EBD]
Ashford International [AFK]
11:20
11:33
Ashford International [AFK]
Hastings [HGS]
12:13
12:26
Hastings [HGS]
Pevensey & Westham [PEV]
12:48
Can be done the same route back as well but without the Hastings change (so only the 3 changes in all, taking 2h 50mins
That certainly would be scenic. It's a nice run along the coast from Hastings, with a nice view of Pevensey Castle before you get off at Pevensey & Westham
Whilst we are in train spotting mode, I can't do Truro this year (sacrificed to enable me to do Eastbourne on my wife's birthday), but the Cornish Riviera sleeper would look to be the train spotters way to do it for those who can.
Great for going down on Friday but the night Riviera does not run on Saturday last train 18.24 gets into Paddington 23.40
Oh well, never mind. But just for your information my dear TBKIAH I will be serving Matt The Hat a letter from my Solicitor warning him not to give any discount to anyone under the age of 16. This would be age discriminatory and as such against the law under The Equality Act 2010. Shame you won't be there to argue your case for a discount.
Finally Trigger, i agree with you they should pay more. Under 18s £20 with an Adult sounds good as they wont spend any money in the bar or on the Bonus Ball or Raffle.

Dear all, Just to confirm we have sold 34 seats so far for Eastbourne, cost is £13 non WUSA, £11 FOR WUSA and £10 juniors. Let me know ASAP if you want a s, from pvrot, just 15 spaces left, coach will be leaving pvr at 11am. Salisbury coach has now sold 21 spaces, again I would expect this to fill up rapidly, let me know ASAP again as we may order another coach if needed, this will be leaving pvr at 9.30 am, cost is £15 non WUSA, £13 WUSA members and £11 junior Cheers Matt
Just to confirm the Eastbourne coach will be leaving at 11am on Monday and.Salisbury City coach for 6th April will leave PVR at 9.30am. Update on Eastbourne trip, we have just 6 places left. If you would like to book either trip please see me at the WUSA desk outside club shop. Anyone that hasn't paid me yet for either trip please pay me Saturday. It will save a lot of hassle handing money at both those matches.
Update on both coaches, Eastbourne I have just 3 places left, coach departs at 11am. Salisbury coach has just 8 remaining spaces, this one departs at 9.30 am, if you would like to travel on either you can email matthewmein@googlemail.com
Matt Can you take me off the coach to Salisbury i have stuff i can't avoid in the morning (am moving house soon) so can't get to Salisbury to later, i will get the train i think. Sorry Alex
Any train catching bods like myself ... 12:20 out of Waterloo .. gets into Salisbury at 13:42 .. quick walk to the Tesco's then the 501 to the Old Sarum (20 mins) and a smidgen of a walk (2/3 mins) .. the 12:50 gets in at 14:19 so yer cutting it fine and possibly also relying on a late running 501
or you can walk through the town then along the dual carriageway and risk death for an hour
