I am fed up with us wearing the blue kit all the time away from home. Dover and Weston are two cases in point and our red kit could and should have been worn. When Graham was still alive he insisted on the red kit when possible and I agree,
This is not some sort of superstitious guff but just a plea to wear our red kit wherever possible. Our away support is very good and most of them turn up in red kit, polo shirts and/or red and white scarves so shouldn't the team they support wear red (whenever possible)
The blue kit is a change kit - nothing more, nothing less.
I totally agree with Wingnut on this. Unfortunately the norm now for most clubs is not to wear their home colours at away games unless the away kit clashes with the opposition's colours. I would like to see fans of all clubs putting pressure their officials to allow the home colours to be worn in all matches where they would not cause a clash. Welling v Dover should always be red v white and Welling v Sutton red v yellow wherever the matches are played.
Kit needs washing. And given we've been playing Saturday Tuesday Saturday and all involved are part time, and Piggy only has one pair of hands, I think we've solved the mystery.

We wore blue at Dover on a Saturday and then again at Sutton on the following Tuesday
We played Havant at home on a Saturday and then Farnborough on the following Tuesday - both in red obviously. We will play Basingstoke on 9th March and Tonbridge on 12th March both at PVR - what colour do you suppose we will wear in those two games...?
Slash the sportscene tie in (Sportscene seems a hinderance rather than a positive, they couldnt even be arsed to reply to an email i sent them about Welling stock) and get the shirts in the shopping centers in Bexleyheath, Bluewater and Bromley , and all large sport shops in the area like Crayford etc.
