I haven't been to school for a while but I do remember that Satu(r)day is not spelt like that.

Jesus wept.

I was thinking that. Anyone with a colour printer, please print out the Maidenhead United flyerr and place in local shop and pub windows (ask for permission first obviouly). Supermarket noticeboards are also a good idea.

If the Maidenhead United flyer is posted on the main website then the flyer can be shared using Facebook and Twitter as well, via the Facebook and Twitter buttons.

You can also right-click on and copy the Maidenhead United flyer then post it on your Facebook wall.

Thanks Andy , if everyone sends out to their contacts and friends / followers we can distribute to more people than we could with a leafleting campaign

But not the 10,000 houses nearest to the ground.

If we ever do go with this "10,000/50,000 leaflets" that continually gets mentioned, please discuss the content on here first.

The emphasis is always placed on the difficulties of distributing, when the first priority should be ensuring the product is as effective as possible. I'd sooner see a picture of the league table take centre stage on the flier than a picture of a player nobody other than a Welling fan will recognise.

Not that I'm an expert on marketing etc, but I would have the Welling United feature on the flyer more prominent than the league's sponsor. Otherwise it's just another pizza leaflet.

I think it's very important to feature an "action" shot.

Far from wanting to criticise whoever put the flyer together, it pretty much looks like only 3 fans have turned up to watch the game. A shot of players in front of a stand full of supporters would show any potential match-goers that is is some sort of atmosphere at the games.

A friend of mine won a couple of free tickets to a Welling game - the picture on them showed us conceding a goal in a game from about 2 years ago, and about 3 away fans going mad. I do wonder how we select these shots sometimes

A shot of Anthony Acheampong scoring the last-minute header against Truro in front of the home crowd would make a good pic for the flyers.
