I wouldn't say we deserved a point at all to be honest. Referee may not have been great, but we really were woeful. Massive lack of width and creation. Thought Anthony was our best player again, didn't put a foot wrong all game really. I think Kurtis can't start on Tuesday, offered very little again and simply isn't scoring.
Great all the same to keep our unbeaten home record going though and the team spirit is ridiculous to keep getting these late goals. Off day today but I'm backing the players and management to get it right on Tuesday and get the 3 points.
Needed more quality out wide today , we didnt deserve to lose to them they were hard working but ordinary. Ref was awful as i think he was last time we had him a long while ago. Great desire to keep plugging on and a momentum keeping late equaliser. Lets bash Tonbridge on Tuesday.

Second highest attendance in the league. Looks like the publicity from the flyers, and last match report on the Newsshopper site doing well, helped. Weather certainly didn't...
Fraser, Jake and Rosco were excellent today, Acheampong played well also and made a great block and Motty pulled off yet another superb flying save. We just need to calm down a bit and concentrate and be patient.
Interviews up late tonight with Jamie Day and Lee Clarke, highlights over the next couple of days.

Jamie mentioned trying to get a striker in on loan in the programme notes - personally think that's very much needed as Roscoe's looking isolated a lot of the time and having to do a lot of work by himself. Got to remember I suppose that we've had Luis out all season and as he's on a contract we'll still be paying him so bringing someone in isn't that easy. If we had him available I think we'd be a lot further clear at the top.
Obviously the lack of width isn't helped by having Loui and Connor out at right-back. As good as Fraser is defensively they're obviously both better going forward.
We need Healy/Faz back ASAP, though I gather it'll be a couple of weeks at least before either is back
was that the 2-2 game where Obo scored JGFC? seem to remember the ref that night being bad and them kicking us all game. then again most games at Hampton were like that
To be fair Fraser put in a gorgeous ball today that cried out for someone poke home. Cesc looked very tidy when he came on considering he was slung on with 20 to go and we were desperate to score.

Thought the Wings we're average today! Basingstoke done a job, there two centre backs won everything! and they we're 5ft nothing?Bsingstoke closed welling down in the important area's and hence the wings didnt create real clear cut chances! Like been said the best bit of footie came in the 94th min for the goal!!
Teams obviously aint going to roll over for us there going to be into us shutting down making it ackward!
Not a performance to remember, but we saved what could be a crucial point.
I would say Anthony and Big Ben were the only ones to have good games today. Roscoe and Gallagher ran themselves into the ground as usual but didn't quite have their usual quality on the ball - fatigue is probably playing a part here as Roscoe in particular seems to have played every minute this season. Thought Clarkie played fairly well first half but faded after the break. A few things to work on: we were too slow to win second balls, our set piece delivery wasn't up to its usual standards with most crosses seeming to go well beyond the far post rather than between the sticks, whilst I felt Kurtis and KHM in particular needed to focus more on beating their markers on the outside and whipping a cross in, rather than running into trouble.
And the "foul" on Kurtis in the box wasn't a penalty in my opinion, just muscled off the ball.
Tuesday is a massive game. Win that and pick something up on Saturday and we are in a superb position with Salisbury and Dover having to play each other. COYWs!
Not quite at the races today bit once again we can't fault their desire and effort.
I thought the back four all played well but the six in front of them weren't at their best. I think it was 4-3-3 but I think we needed to get people closer to Roscoe than we did today. Perhaps we could have gone 4-4-2 although that would mean playing either Gallagher or Clarke in a wide role which is not ideal. I thought Guthrie showed some good touches but the bloke desperately needs a goal and he won't get one playing wide left - I am not sure if him and Ross as a front pairing would work but it might be worth a try.
One slight moan from me and that is some of the comments from the main stand. It was my first game sitting in there this season and some of the negativity and whining simply astounded me. My Dad attended just his second Welling game of the season and he couldn't believe some of the moaning that was going on for a team who are TOP OF THE LEAGUE?!?!? This team of ours has been UNBEATEN at home in the league all season and, after the Basingstoke game, has dropped just EIGHT points. They lost ONE home league game all of last season and the football we have been served up on the whole has been excellent. If you can't support them then shut up and say nothing.
Still in our hands and we are still more than capable of doing it - Up the Wings!!
Agree, there is one bloke in the old stand that does nothing but moan.
Put a sock in it mate.
Agree with what Alan says. Some people seem to have more of a moan now than when we had Parker or Smith as gaffer. We just all need to do our bit and get behind the lads.
Just heard the commentator on Sky talking about the golf and reminded viewers of the saying Form is Temporary - Class is permanant. IMHO Jamie and his management team has built a squad of class over the past seasons who have given us some fantastic memorable football and will continue to do so.
