Just back home form todays game , its been a long but succesful day

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who turned up at the game today

The Money raised for OUR ARMED FORCES VETERANS came in at just over £200

Billy Bonds , Kerry Dixon , Paul Canoville & Paul Smith who attended the game

with Match Sponsor John Parry all said they thouroughly enjoyed the day and the

hospitality shown to them. Would be great to see them again

The Junior Team of the week Phoenix Lions u10 & u9 enjoyed their time on the pitch

and after the game made our players feel special asking them for autographs in the bar.

Our Mascot Nathan Sutton had a good day along with his family which all in all means my job was complete

Park View Road is a much better place with a crowd in it as was shown today , im sure Jamie and the boys

enjoyed the better atmosphere and a second tea bar was again well utilised.

Lets keep those numbers up and keep improving on whats happening at the club , every little helps

Happy to take comments on board to keep improving things

It was fantastic of the legends to come down and be so friendly. Some legends/celebs are up themselves, the guys at the game today were excellent. Maybe we can get them back for a gentlemans evening one day and thank them.

I didnt see Paul Smith, was it the Ex Gillingham Midfielder? I always liked Kerry Dixon despite him being a Chelsea Player (Spit the dog sound effect), always worked hard and was lethal. Bonds is different class. his record speaks for itself. I wonder of Paul Canoville knew his cousin used to play for Welling United?

I also wonder if all of the legends there today had played at Park View Road or against Welling United before.

I don't believe Paul Smith played Gillingham. I think his clubs included Arsenal, Bristol Rovers and Torquay United.

Yesterday was a great experience at our club and it did not just happen, there were many hours of organising going on behind the scenes and Paul did a great job putting this into practice.

When there is a greater turnout at the ground, the Exec Lounge, and the supporters bar we all know what a difference this makes so it is imperative that this is maintained by whatever means it takes. Everyone who has our club at heart can do their bit to encourage more of their friends to come along occasionally, and hopefully they will enjoy the experience like we have and come back for more.

A massive "thank you" to Billy Bonds, Kerry Dixon, Paul Canoville and Paul Smith who were very professional in the way they all made everyone feel so welcome, and helped to make this a day to remember. To hear their comments, and reasons, on why they selected Jack (Obersteller) for the Man of the Match award, it was so pleasing to hear. Together with the match sponsor John Parry (THE PARRY MARKETING TRUST) who did us proud, and it was nice having our close friend Martin Worrow (Supreme Engraving), Dean Lee from PURE Nightclub Bexleyheath together with his friends, and Nathan Sutton (Match Mascot) accompanied by his family.

On the pitch, it was nice to see the team gain another point, thanks to the alertness of Jake (Gallagher) in the 94th minute.....yet again.

Keep up the good work and let us all continue to help our club lift to even better times in the future.

Well done to all!!
