Some mixed reaction on the Telford board but many seem to think he is a committed player. I'm sure Daisy will get the best out of him whilst he is with us-welcome Jake I'm sure you'll help us do a job.
Does rather put the writing on the wall for Mainy though I think?
Seems Telford have had a clear out with yet another new manager taking over. Regardless of what they say about him, everyone deserves a clean slate from which to be judged on (except Joey Barton perhaps!) so let's hope Reid can play a crucial role for us and alleviate the pressure on Ross to score our goals.

Or Kurtis, not impressed on Saturdays showing.
Good strikers are chickens teeth at any level, has Jamie done a little deal to help us to glory?
We need all the fire power we can get, what with Joe out for a spell.
I say welcome Jake, I hope you enjoy success with us.
I think once Kurtis gets a goal and gets his confidence we'll have a very good player on our hands. He's young and will be looking to push onwards and upwards, whereas Mainy's career is winding down and the writing has been on the wall here for some time.
I think now we have a new physical presence up top Roscoe might get a well deserved rest tomorrow, and hopefully Jake and Kurtis can bang a couple in between them.
Some people would think Kurtis is a striker so he must score goals or he isnt doing his job. Others will see he is a forward and has many qualities that are a benefit to the team. He has a great touch, a good work rate, his passing is excellent, hes ok in the air, he can beat players.
I havent seen many people dig Kurtis out and that is probably because people can see he is a good player and an asset, Those that see a striker and think he isnt scoring will have their own views. If you played Kurtis in Rosco's role then i believe he would be scoring goals.
I am looking forward to the goal celebration when he scores. I think hes been at his best since coming back from the knee gash and he looks lively. Everyone sees things differently but i would have Kurtis in the team for what he brings to the team and thats without him scoring, although obviously it would be nice if he chipped in with a few in the run in.

Couldn't agree more, it will come and you will need a wide angle lens to capture the smile on his face.
I agree with the Guthrie crew, he is still a young lad and he is being played out of position - but he is still picking out the passes, puttting defences under pressure and winning headers. He was ever so unfortunate not to get a goal on Saturday. Give the lad a chance - I think he is a tremendous prospect.

Yeah ok, but it seems we have had to hope our defenders get one in from set moves of late as it ain't been happening upfront.
Take a bow...Ben Martin & Fraser Franks.
So yeah Curtis may be a talent that is yet to show his full potential but we are looking to get a job done now & get out of this division.
We don't have the luxury of easing players in & letting them find their feet with only 10 games left.

some of you talk utter **** when you play a lad out of position then start the snide comments its a bad day
I assume you wouldn't react like this for any other player given your username.
I hope Kurtis doesn't react in the way you have. Although he hasn't got goals, he has made a difference in most games ... not Saturday other than one great run from halfway into the box, but in general he's been brilliant and as soon as that first goal comes he'll bang in a few in succession I am sure.
Assuming you are indeed his mate make sure he is here next year as he's more than good enough for the Conf National, and if he does indeed bang those goals in in the coming weeks, that's just where he and Welling will be.
Personally my main problem with Kurtis as a player isn't so much that he isn't scoring but more that he seems to be too lightweight for this level. It seems most games he's too easily brushed off the ball and is too quick to go down and look for a free-kick/penalty and moan about it after.
I really hope I'm wrong but I don't think he's good enough for our level and think there are better players in the squad. Then again Jamie knows far, far more than me and he keeps picking him so there must be a reason for that.
He's a Wanchope type player ... different, awkward. Not something defenders in our league will be used to. And that creates opportunities for him, and the team in general. I would start him with Ross as a front two.

You see him very differently to how I see him. He has incredible close control for a tall man, and uses the ball well. His header caused the chaos from which Jake Gallagher scored against Maidenhead.
