No snow on pitch. Sunny down here in Ashford so hopefully if its the same there (?) it will help soften the pitch up. I think games across the whole of non-league have been called off a tad too easily on occasions this season, but even so games have been played on pitches that are a lot more dangerous/allotment-like/frozen than ours.
When we played Luton in the FA Trophy, the game couldnt have continued if it went into extra time, the surface was crispy with the ice. I agree that if there is a bit of snow then just clear the lines and use an orange ball. If the pitch is frozen though its dangerous.

I think Barry deserves a lot of credit this year for the way he has kept the pitch in such good condition. With all the snow, rain and cold weather we have had this year, plus two teams playing their home games on that pitch, it's looking in good nick.
