As usual can everyone make sure they share the newsshopper article via the Facebook 'like' and tweet buttons next to the article.

We did very well with the Tonbridge match report. It was 3rd most shared, 6th most read, and for the first time got into the most commented section.

The popularity of the match report seems to be getting noticed by the Newsshopper editorial, as we're now given the same amount of coverage on the back page of the paper as Charlton and Millwall.

All of this is fantastic free publicity, obtained through people just taking a couple of seconds to click on a button or leave a comment(s).

The lads are keeping up with hard work on the pitch, let's all keep up the hard work off the pitch.

Currently the fourth most read article on Newsshopper!

However only 2 comments, and unfortunately the 'Tweet' and 'Like' buttons have been reset, possibly due to article being edited. Let's keep the tweets and 'likes' coming.

Most importantly please add a small comment. It does make a huge difference in changing mind sets over the clubs popularity.

Thank you.

I haven't edited it and the pictures haven't been added. I see 5 tweets 11 likes and 3 comments. Were there more at some point?

It seems to be temperamental. Prior to typing that post there were no likes or tweets showing. After posting it, all the likes and tweets reappeared. Now they've disappeared again....

strange.

One of my Essex-based colleagues at work gave me a copy of the match report from his local rag.  It's online here:

I had to chuckle about the comment about them playing the better football.

Their plan to get 1000 didn't work very well did it, given they got 519 and I suspect a good 150 of them were Welling fans.

I'd love to have seen the pitch for the games they called off, as it was awful on the photos I have seen from Saturday.
