Bath result not a total surprise. Good result at Truro just that little more important as it makes journey home just seem soooooo much shorter.

Could really do with Healy back soon to be honest as I'm guessing Jamie and Cesc are gonna be suspended at the same time which will leave us with only Clarke/Kinch/Gallagher/Theo left in midfield.

That gives very little creativity for crucial games and also gonna leave them with a heavy workload. Really hope we can pick up 3 points on Saturday,

Saturday HAS to be in doubt with heavy rain and winds forecast from Thursday onwards for SW...was their game called off last week?

I've said it before and I'll say it again......every time we play Ben Martin and Acheampong together at centre half we give our oppo a goal head start! They can't keep clean sheets. Or at least they can't keep as many as Franks and Ant!

They have been playing together for a while now and the last time I looked we were 6 points clear at the top. I actually think they have been playing well together. Look at the pressure they soaked up on Saturday. Also if you moved Franks into the middle, who would you put at right back?

A game that really should have finished 0-0 in all honnesty but for one piece of very sloppy defending.

We didn't create much and they created a bit more without looking that dangerous until we chased the game towards the end.

One thing I didn't really understand were the substitutions. KHM only lasted about five minutes of the second half and then we had three centre forwards on the pitch with Guthrie looking lost on the right wing. We then brought Cesc on but continued to play it long and not get the ball to him. He tried to do too much, got frustrated, bad tackle and red card.

Still all to play for and, lest we forget, we have a six point lead. It is still in our own hands and we have the team to do it.

Up the Wings!

It was. They were meant to play Eastleigh. I was in Truro last Saturday visiting family (bad timing or what?) and hoping to go. As I drove up on hearing that the match was off, local radio said the match might have been put back to the Sunday and, almost immediately, that this option was a non-runner.

As it happened, I headed off down the A38 to take in St Blazey v Torpoint Athletic in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula Premier Division whilst getting updates on the Wings. £4 entrance, tea in a china mug and any food product from the refreshment hut you liked as long as it was a pasty.

Wingnut has it bang on.

Their goal we could have cleared 3 times then havent tracked a runner from his own box and weve created the space for him into the bargain for him to run into.
We have a PERFECTLY good goal disallowed, KHM never touched the keeper who then fell on his own player when coming down.
Ross didnt have an open goal in possession of the ball, he had an open goal but the ball came to him slightly behind him.
Cesc was unlucky to be sent off

We need to make a concerted effort to start well in every game, Anyone moaning.. phone up salisbury and ask if they want to swap places.

Bath werent great but they had a good work rate and won a lot of second ball, weve played on two bogs for pitches and looked a bit leggy.
