Have to say the commentary was excellent. We seemed to get more mention in Cornwall than we do on radio Kent. If we go up I will love listening to them graciously acknowledge that we are in Kent
I would also like to record them saying the word "congratulations"
Yes, we have played a game more, Yes, we have still got to play Salisbury, At the end of the day Salisbury NEED to beat us and hope that we slip up THREE times because of our excellent goal difference. Its getting closer to the end of the season. 7 Games to go, So Salisvbury need us to slip up not once, not twice, but three times? And even if we do, they have to win all EIGHT of their remaining games. Victor Chandler have put Welling as 1/10 to win the league, while Salisbury reversed at 10/1? Have we completed the job yet?
I was always taught "never count your chickens before they've hatched!" Although we are in a fantastic position it's not done until its mathematically impossible for anyone to catch us! I'm ure the management share this view!
I've supported Welling long enough to know things can and do go wrong however improbable they are!!

Totally agree, feel far more positive after today but we still haven't won anything yet. What is good is that we've now played more games than the teams around us. On Monday it will be a month and two days until the end of the season and some of them will be playing twice a week every week.

If Rtec cares to read my post again, which was commentating (please excuse the pun) about Radio Kent you will clearly see you have missed the word if

Well said BKK!
What is it with some people? No one on here is blurting out its all over lets crack open the bubbly, its just a case of its getting closer & within our reach.
People should lay off others on here who are just expressing the joy of its now poss' that we could win this league & theres no harm in that, & as for TBKIAH, the kid is only stating what is fact to date & asking a question (alright a daft one at that, but still only asking a question).
So can we end the negative come backs, & get behind the team one & all for the run in & give it our all & play our part in a positive way fans?
Now cue come back posts of....."forum is for voicing all feelings good or bad etc"

We were on the go from the first whistle, Midfield ran their nuts off, as did the forwards, Theo played without any pressure and it showed he has the qualities. We didnt look leggy at all. When we start well we are a good team.
It was amazing how untroubled we were after getting on top through work rate they had a few half chances but you never felt they could score a few goals, despite them hitting the post once. You would struggle to find a Wings player who didnt play his part yesterday but Theo and the non league Scott Parker were very good.
Massive shout to the Wings fans who were there, many were at Bath in Midweek Some interviews up hopefully tonight with Jamie Day and Man of the Match Theo Fairweather-Johnson and some highlights up over the next few days
Must be the first time we have had anyone booked for pulling faces and sticking out your tongue, Jake Gallagher definitely bantered their captain haha.

One game at a time, the last game doesnt matter, future games after Friday dont matter, The only game that matters is the next one until the season finishes.
We were focused on one game on Saturday and thats the way to do it Judy.

Want to add to the many positive comments about Radio Cornwall commentary. It was very good, unbiased and objective.
From the teams point of view six points from three away games is a really good return and keeps us on target. Still 7 hards games to come but have every confidence in the squad. Believe!

BBC Radio Cornwall, what a class act! Had we had lost at Truro I would still be singing their praises. Why, oh why, can we not get the same service from BBC radio Kent? Never mind the distance and the boundaries, let's sign up to BBC Radio Cornwall. Sheer professionalism.

Good point.
Cut out the negativity ffs, we're 9 points clear. Let the other teams do the worrying.

I'm with you on this one. The fat lady hsn't even cleared her throat. A sixth of the season, and some tough games, are still to come!!
