Day knows what it takes to win this league - donkeys like Martin and the number 6 to head it and hoof it (didn't see them pass it all game), tough tacklers in centre midfield and quick attackers. Preferably all starting 11 6ft+. AKA the Braintree way. You don't need footballers to win this league.

I laughed one of them posted we didn't look a team as good as a champion team. We scored 3 had one disallowed. Reidy, Theo, Kinchy and Kurtis missed good chances.... It could have been a cricket score. We pummelled them big style. Clarkes tackle was two footed lunge. Thought chelmos defence was slow and robotic, when their wide men had the ball their use of it was awful. Its just a shame we never won 6 or 7 nil like we should have. They came to be physical, we won that battle then played them to sleep.

Clark deserved to go and Whight should have followed for his challenge on Jamie Day. Bullying doesn't work against Welling anymore, teams need to get over it.
Don;t agree that Whight deserved to go - thought it was a bit late but not two footed. The first one was an absolute cert and was glad to see the ref did it without 5 people getting off the bench to help him as happened when Daysy got sent off last season. Thought some of our football in the second half was brilliant. Sour grapes. They will be in the play offs but can't see them going up.
