It would seem from the Chelmsford forum that one of their more infamous supporters fell foul of our re admissions policy yesterday. The policy is quite clearly stated at the entrance to the ground

Serves him right. Deliberately tried bending the rules thinking he could get away with it. Didnt. No sympathy. The man is a tool anyway.

No sympathy for him BUT if the bar did struggle to cope with the crowd yesterday then maybe we need to negotiate with E&B for some of the bigger games if we end up getting promoted.

I paid PVR a visit yesterday for the first time this season (yeah I know, glory boy - I've moved away from SE London and it's a bugger to get to these days) and it struck me how more officious everything seems to be now, especially with the stewarding.

It seemed to me they are gearing up for next season and the tougher rules in place, but one of the great things I used to find about going to Welling was how relaxed and friendly it was, and of course, being able to pop into the Guy Earl at halftime.

I guess if they are going to keep crowds of over a 1000 in the ground they really are going to have to work on feeding and watering them a bit better - it's all a bit of a shame really that rules seem to be taking over.

Very interesting thing was a lot of Chelmsford City fans were cheering that Mr Foster was not being allowed back into the ground.

And it seems most are aware that Welling (along with the majority of other clubs) do not allow re-admittance. That's why there was a long queue in the bar with nobody else trying it on.

My favourite post on their thread:

Where were you going anyway? To the bookies to lump a bit more on Welling is my guess!?

He was probably off to claim winnings on there being a red card in the first 5 minutes...
