On to this match, more of the same please lads! Will be going down by car, can anyone recommend best pub for Pre match drinks and grub? I realise the ground has nothing much nearby, thanks
Im going down by train, nearest station is Pevensey & Westham, if you tap in ''Pubs near Pevensey & Wesham station'' in google you get a decent guide & map.
You will prob' find me in the Heron on the High Street before the game.
Also stopping off in Hastings for a bite to eat & a beer.
COYW!

Taking the train is going to be extremely challenging with maintenance works aplenty. Having a look in my boy's book of knowledge it appears that there is an attractive alternative to get to Eastbourne without the need of using a train.
As I live in Upper South Welling Village I plan to board the 51 bus and get off at Sidcup. It is while I'm on this bus I get the call from Daisey putting to me his idea of the team line up for the afternoon. After putting him right I carry on with my journey.
From here I will wait for a 269 which will take me to Bromley North. It is during this trip that I get the team's medical staff calling me with updates on the current injuries and asking my advice on what treatment to give them. As my history is in Histology I am the best person to ask.
There is no time to lose as the 119 is waiting for me. Another telephone conversation with Mr Day and he confirms that with my superior footballing knowledge he has now picked a winning side that I will agree with. I give him the thumbs up and for Daisey this has made his day.
Getting off at Croydon I decide to do a little shopping. There's no rush, the match won't start before I arrive.
The 405 Metro bus will be waiting my arrival and my next stop will be at Redhill. After picking up the Financial Times and looking at the companies dividend dates I call my broker to invest heavily into Cyprus Banks (they seem a safe bet).
I then get on the National Express Shuttle 025. It while on this part of the journey that I face my toughest task. I will be assisting my good friend (who shall remain nameless, but has blonde hair covered by a hood) in his grammar lessons via Skype. Getting off at Brighton I have a tour around the Sea-Life Centre.
Directly outside the exit is the stop for the number 12 bus. Getting off at Eastbourne town centre I take a seat in the grounds of Pevensey Castle enjoying a small Latte. It's so much better inside it than having a stroll outside.
From here I call for a cab that takes me directly to the ground.
The journey may be a little on the long side but there's no need to rush.

The 12.53 from Clapham Junction is like a football special as there are at least 2 Wings fans on it. May I publicly thank my wife for letting me go to football on her birthday as well.
Ben had a little tap at their guy. Hardly touched him but the action was deemed a red by Cooper who sent Ben off at Staines last season. Interesting Cooper said to Ben at half time because you are taller than their forwards I am going to give them free kicks. Good one.
Barney got man of the match. Interviews with Jamie Day and Scott Kinch plus highlights to follow.

Couldn't hear many cheers on the radio commentary either - took a while for commentator to realise we'd scored. Sounds a bit soft from Eastbourne, and that perhaps their keeper was still feeling the effects of that knock.
