One negative from the last few games has been our very poor discipline. Salisbury was seven yellow cards - apparently the ref was fussy but you need to adapt to that and seven is still far too many regrdless of the officials. Last night's referee would have tried the patience of a saint but again we should realise that early on and adapt to it.

Ashby sent from the dugout - not for the first time.

Daisy served a ban for two bookings recently. Since that suspension he has picked up four yellows in four games and is now on the verge of yet another ban - needless.

Martin starts a ban for the last two games due to kicking out at someone in injury time in a game we are winning 3-0 - ridiculous.

Gallagher is also out for the last two games - 10 bookings over a season with the way he plays is no real surprise so I think we can cut him some slack.

Lafayette gets kicked to pillar to post most weeks and last night gets shoved over and gets a yellow for simulation!! Most of his cards are probably borne of frustration due to lack of protection but some of them have been needless.

Bring your boots for the Eastleigh game folks because, if Daisy or Ross bets booked this weekend, then they will be watching that game with the rest of us.......

To make matters worse I THINK (emphasis on Think) Fraser is going to have a ban for collecting five yellows.

Only five for the whole season...? If so, can't imagine that warrants a ban - isn't that only if they all come prior to 1st January?

If that's the case it's fine. I keep thinking you get a one match ban for five yellows no matter the date

Got this from FA site.

Suspensions are automatically imposed for accumulating 5, 10, or 15 cautions in a season.

There are cut-off dates for receiving a sanction as a result of accumulated cautions. They are:

5 cautions 31st December

10 cautions 2nd Sunday in April

15 cautions End of season

For example, a player earning their fifth caution of the season on or after 1st January would not earn any ban. However, if they received ten cautions by the second Sunday in April, a ban would apply. Players who receive 20 or more cautions in a season shall be required to attend a Regulatory Commission.

Ross is on 9 and Jamie on 14.

So as long as Roscoe doesn't get booked on Saturday he'll be available for the last two games

We had better hope he doesn't get booked for being bundled over again.

How many is the skipper on?

Doesn't the suspension kick in 2 weeks later in our league - in which case that will be next season

Or is that just for red cards

The FA site also said that Cesc ban finishes on 13th. Not sure if that means he can play on 13th or not.

Cesc out on Saturday - available after that.

If Jamie or Ross were booked against Weston a ban would start two weeks from the last offence - Eastleigh at home.

Clarke doesn't show on FA site as being one game from a ban as Jamie and Ross are.

After Weston game I believe that those with 9 or less bookings have their crime sheet wiped clean - those with 14 who get another yellow after this weekend will presumably have bans carried over into next season and be told to sit on the naughty step by the FA.

Thanks Wingnut - I think we will be up before Eastleigh but just in case let's hope they behave (or the refs do)

Discipline comes from the top and if Jamie is picking up needless bookings then everyone else will and he can do nothing! I wonder out of them 14 yellows the manager has received how many were for descent. I'm assuming at least 5! Even last night when he was booked (probably a booking) he continued to argue with the ref and complain! He should be setting an example to everyone else and being a bit more level headed on the pitch! Doesn't help that the management are also getting sent from the dugout. I'm well aware last nights ref was dreadful!
