To all the players, staff and fans and particularly to Tom for the great Videos. Great to come home and watch brilliant highlights a few hours after the games have finished and the
reports
and Twitter feeds.
I promised I would never wear the shirt again until we were back in the Conference (Premier).
If someone could confirm what rough year this is from and when the Wings were relegated....made my f****g day guys.

Yes well done Wings. Little old Welling back in the Conference. Jamie Day is a miracle worker. When you think of all the money that Salisbury, Dover, Eastleigh, Chelmo, Sutton etc have thrown at it and we take the title. Its not that long ago that we nearly got relegated to the league below after Neil Smith's ill fated reign so what Jamie has done is a real achievement. I hope we can hold onto him and the rest of the coaching team not to mention the players who got us here.
Was proud to have been there today. On a cruise which starts next Saturday so I cannot make the Eastleigh game, but I was determined to see us crowned Champions (bar a miracle) today. Congrats to all who traveled, we must have outnumbered them by at least two to one. I am proud of the fans and team and will raise a glass at 5 o' clock next Sat somewhere in the English Channel.

Faz MotM today though Joe Obersteller wasn't far behind. They filled the two full back spots we were so worried about brilliantly.
Congratulations to the whole squad and management. Who would have thought two and a half years ago when we thought we could be watching AFC Welling in the Kent League or lower that within such a short space of time we would be looking forward to a 50th anniversary season in the top tier of non-league football.
Well done the wings. Im a newby (this season) have been bringing me 70 year old mum over, we were there today & may i say she thought the support was fantastic & cannot wait for next season. COYW
Whilst sitting here in my padded cell, I am struggling to find the right words to describe the emotions that I am feeling. For me, this is a totally new experience. After 17 years of supporting Welling United and knowing what it's like to be relegated I am now just so happy. As has been said, in our 50th year and having come through some very challenging times it makes our success all the more pleasing.
The singing on the platform and in the train was different class (apologies for not joining in, but I am banned from singing in public as I am too good).
We have been a brilliant team on the pitch and a fantastic team as a group of supporters. There has been a huge amount of effort by many people who together can take credit in assisting in our teams success.
When you think of what we've achieved - from nearly getting wound up 2 years ago, play off final last year and champions this year. Totally incredible, with a reduced budget this year as well. It's hard to put into words the pride I feel,
Can I add my congratulations as well. Couldn't have a beer at Boreham Wood as driving so had a few at my local. Great following today 466 at the Wood and I would estimate at least 300 of us there.
Well done to Josie (our head steward) for donning the Danson Dog costume.
Some great posts on twitter including one of congratulations from Loick.
Say we are going up, say we are going up! Such a great achievement, thought after the play off defeat last year we d struggle but no we are CHAMPIONS!!!!
Well done Jamie and the team - great day for the club and a start to our 50th Anniversary season - Top of Non League Football_ Awooooga!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i

Congratulations, you guys. It's all well-deserved. No other team in the league has scored more or conceded less. Now complete the job against Eastleigh on Saturday which will mean a whole season with no home league defeats! Watch that Mcallister, though. He's scored six in the last two games....

20.04.13 A good day!
A good day indeed my friend. For once I won't insult you! Took all my Jedi powers to offset all those saying "if we do it" rather than "when we do it" but in the shadow of elstree studios, home of Star Wars, the force was with us.
I know I swing emotionally a lot less severely than most of you during the course of a match\season but I cannot believe how many people were fretting and imploring a lucky break this afternoon. Aside from being Welling and switching off for 5 minutes after we scored to let them back in, I thought we had learnt from Staines and got back on the front foot in short order afterwards and made sure we kept the point we needed. Contrary to what certain people in Salisbury think, at this level this team doesn't really need luck if it does it jobs properly and we have been blessed with people being called in as replacements and doing the job to the standard of the man they replaced.
It's funny but my sense is not of ecstasy or relief, just a job very well done, not just by those today but all those who have contributed over the season. And I didn't think I'd be saying that after Luis got injured at Tonbridge.
Lets close it out by retaining the unbeaten home record.
The comment on the Salisbury forum about us being lucky made me smile - I'm assuming they weren't referring to the injuries to Luis, Ryan, Louis, Jack or Barney. I guess it must be the late goals. Football is a 90 minute game with some time added on. Is it lucky to score in the 90th minute or a sign of a good team that battles until the final whistle? Anyway the stats don't lie, the best team in the league over the season won it. You might say that but for a slow start it would have been won a long time ago.
Ive chuckled all along when the Sslisbury fans said they are better they will lose less points (once we caught them)... from memory we were 13 points behind them and steamrollered them absolutely romped it when the pressure was all on us.
Winning 12 games on the trot is an all time league record. Unbeaten at home all season so far... LUCKY?? PMSL Somewhere in wiltshire there are 4 wheels that came off Salisbury somewhere after christmas. It takes bottle (And class) to win a league. Welling shut their mouths and did the talking on the pitch and on the terraces...
Thirteen points and you F**ked it up, dont cry... Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Fantastic afternoon and thanks to First Capital Connect I was able to go back to the delightful Wishing Well pub on the high street and carry on celebrating for a few extra hours!
